This position will work closely with the Software Manager and cross-functional engineering teams and will have the opportunity to take ownership of software projects and develop broad knowledge of our products and technology.\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced, adaptable software engineer who enjoys solving problems, working with existing code, and contributing directly to software development and testing.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, maintain, and debug embedded software using C.\nDevelop and maintain software that interfaces with electronic hardware, sensors, and other device components.\nMaintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing software developed by others.\nDevelop and support PC-based applications and software tools.\nDevelop, execute, and document software testing and verification activities.\nTroubleshoot software and hardware/software integration issues and identify root causes.\nParticipate in requirements, design, coding, testing, and software release activities.\nCollaborate with hardware, quality, manufacturing, and other engineering teams.\nMaintain appropriate software documentation and follow established development and quality processes.\nTake ownership of assigned software projects and deliverables.\nProvide technical support and knowledge sharing to other members of the cross-functional team.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 5 years of professional software development experience, including significant embedded software experience.\nStrong C programming skills and experience with embedded systems/microcontrollers.\nExperience debugging software and hardware/software integration issues.\nExperience maintaining and enhancing software developed by others.\nExperience with software development, testing, debugging, and release processes.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a small, cross-functional team.\nHands-on approach with a willingness to code, troubleshoot, test, and solve problems directly.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Delphi/Object Pascal.\nMedical device or other regulated industry experience.\nExperience with software verification and validation.\nExperience with sensors, measurement systems, or electronic hardware.\nFamiliarity with software configuration management, source control, and formal development processes.\nWork Authorization\nCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States.\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.\nCompany: SunTech Medical;
