This position focuses on the analysis and decomposition of stakeholder requirements into a well-defined set of product requirements, and to architect robust, scalable fire system solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity, traceability, and alignment with customer and regulatory expectations throughout the product lifecycle.\nYour main responsibilities will be:\nLead the decomposition of identified VoC needs into clear stakeholder requirements.\nCommunicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and technical issues.\nCreate and maintain detailed product design documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and interface definitions.\nEnsure traceability from requirements through design and verification\nIntegrate system engineering practices with digital engineering Product Life-cycle Management tools (Enterprise Architect and Jama).\nCollaborate with other departments (e.g., product/project management, features/product engineering) to ensure alignment on technical requirements\nSupport technical reviews, audits, and customer engagements.\nDrive continuous improvement in systems engineering processes and toolchains.\nEssential Qualifications/skills required:\nDegree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or have suitable Fire Industry experience.\nSignificant experience and a full understanding of Systems Engineering, the V-Model and associated processes/lifecycles.\nSignificant experience of developing high quality requirements and establishing a fully compliant product design.\nExperience in writing high quality technical documentation and the formal technical review of such material.\nSubstantial knowledge of System Engineering practices, methodologies, processes, techniques and fire product trends.\nExperience of hands-on development of either hardware, software or firmware development, particularly in Fire Industry Products\nDesirable:\nExperience of JIRA, JAMA, Enterprise Architect Tools\nIET or INCOSE recognition\nIf you are motivated by challenge and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
