This individual will oversee the financial operations of the company and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and complex environment.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nOversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.\nDevelop and maintain financial policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.\nPrepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely information to senior management and external stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders.\nManage the company's cash flow and investments to ensure adequate liquidity and profitability.\nEnsure that all financial records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.\nHelp lead and develop others on the Accounting team, providing guidance, coaching, and support.\nCollaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support on various projects and initiatives.\nDevelop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.\nAt least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including experience mentoring others.\nStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial analysis, and reporting.\nMust be an excellent collaborator, able to successfully partner with internal and external stakeholders in a positive way.\nExcellent communication skills; able to share complex financial information with non-financial stakeholders.\nExperience with financial software and systems, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.\nMust be able prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nPassion for partnering internally to improve and streamline processes.\nBenefits and Compensation:\nThis is a great opportunity with a company that values and rewards its employees.
