The Lead Bartender will also assist management in inventory management, organization, cleaning schedule and checklist maintenance. The Lead Bartender will be in charge of maintaining batching consistency and par upkeep. The Bartender is expected to give service that is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful while upholding company standards, values and balancing responsibilities in a busy, fast paced environment.\nEssential Functions\nOversee and guide guest’s complete dining and restaurant experience\nProvide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times\nFull knowledge of food and beverage menu items including the major components of a dish; this may include ingredients and their source, simple descriptions of unfamiliar ingredients, preparation, and/or execution of correct food and beverage service\nExtensive beverage knowledge including classic cocktails, local craft and international beers, wine varietals and pairings\nAdhere to all company service standards and protocols\nConfident and correct use of POS system for order entry and payment processing\nEnsure food and beverage arrive to guests quickly and correctly; and confirming guest satisfaction\nMaintain a sanitary environment for incoming and outgoing guests including but not limited to sanitizing tables and chairs and sanitizing bathrooms between guest use.\nEnsure proper table maintenance, including water service, pre-bussing, etc.\nHelp to set up and break down tables, chairs, plants, and canopy for patio service\nEnsure guests are charged correctly and receive proof of payment in a timely manner\nCommunicate respectfully with chefs (and kitchen team) as well as servers as necessary\nSupport team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service\nEngage management for any guest issue or complaint\nAssist in maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and service areas\nStocking and preparing service related items, setting up and cleaning bar\nAdhere to grooming and dress code standards\nRequirements\nMinimum 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment\nStrong beverage knowledge and a passion for the service industry\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nMust possess exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude\nReceptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback\nAbility to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
