The ideal candidate will be excited to be a part of the team and to uphold the Eli’s standards and values.\nEssential Functions\nClean cooking stations and equipment to help expedite service\nClean and maintain FOH areas and curbside if requested by supervisor\nKeep open communication with BOH team and FOH team\nMaintaining cleanliness of any BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas\nParticipate in deep cleaning of BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas\nAssisting in other BOH areas as needed including but not limited to basic food preparation\nOperate and utilize the dish machine and cleaning supplies\nWash, sanitize and dry all kitchen utensils, equipment and other items placed in the dish area or as requested by Management and Staff\nAvailable to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends\nSafely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment\nRequirements\nMaintain a pace sufficient to prevent back up of dirty dishes, glasses, etc.\nReturn and restock all items to appropriate area after washing and sanitizing procedures are completed\nAbility to read a thermometer\nMaintain dishwashing machinery and communicate any potential issues to Management\nIdentify cleaning supplies and notify Management when running low\nAssist with general cleanliness of the back of house and restrooms\nEmpty garbage (checking for restaurant supplies) and keep garbage areas clean and covered\nComply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures\nFollow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook\nGet along well with others and be a team player\nOther duties will be assigned as needed\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
