Tasked with mastering the pizza bench and oven, you will also be accountable for cleanliness and, food and equipment safety knowledge.\nEssential Functions\nBe able to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends\nGet along with others and be a team player\nPrepare menu items and necessary ingredients according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests and presentations\nControl our 700 degree brick oven and maintain a consistently cooked pizza\nFollow all prescribed portioning controls and maintain food safety and quality standards\nCorrectly read and use a thermometer\nCommunicate any food delays or issues to Coordinator\nMaintain menu item counts and communicate to management and service staff when quantities fall below restaurant specific minimum quantity\nAccurately account for all items coming out of their station\nUnderstand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions\nComply with all safety and sanitation (including handwashing) guidelines and procedures\nBe proficient in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment\nFollow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook\nOther duties will be assigned as needed\nRequirements\nMaintain food safety and quality standards\nAbility to read a thermometer correctly and efficiently\nCommunicate any food delays or issues to Coordinator\nMaintain menu item counts and communicate to Management and service staff when quantities fall below restaurant specific minimum quantity\nAccurately account for all items coming out of the station\nUnderstand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions\nComply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures\nFollow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook\nGet along well with others and be a team player\nOther duties will be assigned as needed\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
