You will understand partnership accounting and have experience with financial reporting, preferably with a background in private markets/private equity accounting. In addition, you will assist the team with assigned duties and organizing special projects.\nYour responsibilities will be to:\nReview quarterly fund financial statements prepared by other members of the department and third-party administrators\nAssist with the audit of fund financial statements\nAssist in valuation of fund investments and valuation of portfolio companies\nMaintain and review cash positions entries for various private equity funds\nPrepare and review journal entries for various private equity funds\nIndependently assess and resolve client questions and requests\nEnsure accuracy and timely delivery of client deliverables and oversight of administrators\nManage aspects of departments core functions\nPresent departments goals and initiatives to internal personnel and existing or prospective clients\nYour background will include:\nUndergraduate degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.) in Accounting or related field\n3-5+ years’ working experience in Fund Accounting/financial industry setting\nKnowledge of private equity fund services industry preferred\nMust be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nMust be detail oriented and organized and possess excellent analytical skills\nExcellent communication skills in English and Mandarin\nBenefits\nAt Hamilton Lane, our benefits philosophy is simple.
