The result is faster AI pipelines, higher GPU utilization, quicker time-to-insight, and a radically simpler way for researchers, developers, and enterprises to put their data to work.\nAbout the role\nWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Software QA Engineer with experience in testing Storage, Filesystems, distributed systems and Protocols (NFS, SMB).\nResponsibilities:\nLead the testing of Storage features by participating in product design and building test strategies through hands-on testing and automation\nReview feature designs and provide feedback to the development team to improve product quality and testability\nDevise test strategies to find product vulnerabilities through cross-functional, system and stress testing\nWork closely with developers to understand new and existing features, bug fixes and develop test cases for new features and regression testing\nCollaborate with the tools team to develop test automation for different product features\nInterface and work with the Customer Support team to understand customer issues, reproduce them in-house and debug them\nWork remotely with a global team, communicating effectively via Slack, Zoom, Email, Confluence and Jira.\nQualifications:\nHands-on experience working on NFS/SMB protocols, Windows or/and Linux\nMust have experience in Multiple operating systems: Linux/Windows/VMWare\nStrong knowledge of release management and testing lifecycle.\nExperience building test pipelines & infrastructure from a QA Engineer perspective\nWorking knowledge of NAS File system testing\nSoftware test development experience with shell scripting, Python\nExperience with packet capture tools like wireshark and tcpdump\nExperience writing and executing complex system level test plans, test cases and test reports\nTrack record of being a key contributor in successful projects\nStrong oral and written communication skills, with a strong quality background\nBS in Computer Science with 10+ years of experience or MS in Computer Science with 8+ years of experience\nAdditional Desired Skills:\nFamiliarity with Windows Server and Active Directory administration\nPay range and compensation package:\nThe anticipated base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $220,000. Actual compensation will be determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional/education experience, skills/abilities, internal equity, location and budgetary considerations.
