We offer unmatched benefits and competitive wages in a stimulating and rewarding environment.\n.\nSalary Range: $85,409 - $111,031\nHampton Roads Transit is not considering applicants for this position that require any type of immigration sponsorship (additional work authorization or permanent work authorization) now or in the future to work in the United States.This includes, but is not limited to F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J-1.\nThis position is located in the Hampton Roads, VA offices and requires on-site presence.\nEssential Job Functions:\n(Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might reasonably be assigned.)\nManage all levels of system administration support for all Workday HRMS\nManage release management and change management processes.\n\nManage upgrade/update\n\nCoordinate and perform database\n\nMonitor and communicate maintenance\n\nMonitor performance HRMS\n\nDeploy and manage developer\n\nAssist to maintain, and test system configurations and\n\nManage and maintain system integrations to other internal and external\n\nAssist to maintain software licenses, user access and security\n\nProvide as needed support for troubleshooting and remediation of technical\n\nManage and coordinate with Microsoft through to resolution raised system\n\nAssist with administrative support for other ERP\n\nAssist with development and reporting efforts in Workday’s HRMS system.\nWork with functional and technical teams to understand and gather requirements to design and develop modifications and extensions to HRMS system.\n\nUse of Workday HRMS development and reporting tools to design, develop and test customizations, integrations, and\n\nCreate requested documentation supporting system design, development, and\n\nPerform maintenance and development work in a manner that is consistent with company standards and\n\nOther related tasks to ensure on-going secure and supported\n\nManage records created and received in compliance with the Hampton Roads Transit Records Management Policies and Procedures.\n\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Essential to Job Functions:\nTechnical experience in Workday’s HRMS Systems Administration, Configuration and Development.\n\nWorkday Technical functional knowledge in one or more of following areas: HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Time Reporting\n\nAbility to logically troubleshoot technical problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience with printer configuration support check printing.\n\nCollaboration, analytical, and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative and transparent environment.\n\nAbility to mentor team members and transfer knowledge to others\n\nMust be technically and functionally oriented (good problem solving and troubleshooting skills), excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), self-motivated, self-directed, good multi- tasking skills, quality oriented, flexible, and committed to successful on-time completion of tasks.\n\nRequired Software Knowledge and Skills Essential to Job Functions:\nProficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential. Basic problem-solving skills associated with software applications used is expected. Software usage relevant to job duties will be evaluated.\nSoftware applications:\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows products (Excel, Word, Access)\nSafety Responsibility:\nPerform all job duties and responsibilities in a safe manner to protect oneself, fellow employees, and the public from injury or harm. Promote safety awareness and follow safety procedures and policies. Take an active part in reporting unsafe conditions and any hazards within the workplace to their Supervisor, Manager and/or the Safety Department.\nTraining and/or Education:\nBS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems or Related Technical Field\nRequired Experience:\nUtilizing Workday’s HRMS system the following:\n3+ combined years’ experience as Workday HRMS System Administrator\n\n3+ years of proven expertise in system auditing for Workday HRMS solution\n\n3+ years’ experience with set-up and managing integrations for Workday HRMS solution.\n\n3+ years of proven expertise in user authentication, user authorization and data security\n\n3+ years of proven development (or application extension) expertise.\n\n3+ years proven experience creating and updating custom reports utilizing latest Workday HRMS reporting tools.\n\n4+ Superior Technical proficiency with SQL for reviewing data, troubleshooting, developing user reports, and testing/validating source system\n\nLicenses or Certificates:\nPossess a valid Driver's License.
