Responsible for analyzing source system data, building processes to provide data cleansing and proper categorization. Translates business processes into logical and physical models in support of business requirements.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nExperience with Cloud Data storage technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS or similar is preferred\nContributes to the data warehouse development lifecycle (requirements gathering, ETL, database design & development, testing & validation).\nDesigns and builds data structures to support analysis and reporting.\nDesigns and builds processes to ensure integrity and quality of data.\nTroubleshoots and optimizes existing queries and databases.\nRecommends and implements process improvements.\nMaintains data dictionary & documentation.\nMaintains knowledge of current BI tools, methods, and best practices.\nActs as an internal consultant providing technical guidance on business systems projects.\nDetermines and resolves problems with other systems analysts, programmers, and systems users.\nMaintains, develops, modifies, and documents processes according to general specifications and guidelines.\nProvides guidance to lower-level team members.\nConsults with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required.\nRevises or directs revision of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.\nAnalyzes, defines, and documents system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, and controls and outputs.\nResearches and evaluates software and hardware to enhance and improve existing processes.\nPerforms other duties and special projects as assigned by Senior Management.\nIncumbent is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nNone.\nMINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:\nBachelor’s degree; BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar degree preferred\nAt least six years related experience and/or training and experience with a developed expertise in database administration, data architecture or data modeling\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Pivot, PowerPoint, Access Outlook email program\nGeneral database administration practices\nKnowledge of application of data warehousing and data modeling concepts\nAdvanced SQL & database development\nETL design patterns & best practices (MS Integration Services, Informatica, etc.)\nSQL optimization methods and techniques\nDemonstrated leadership capabilities on sizable projects\nESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to work under stress and meet deadlines\nAbility to travel\nAbility to lift/move/carry approximately 100 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
