This is a hands-on creative role for someone who enjoys taking projects from brief to delivery, has a strong eye for detail and understands what makes content work on social media.\nAround 70% of your time will be spent editing video, with the remaining 30% focused on graphic design. You'll work closely with a creative team to produce polished, engaging content that connects with audiences and brings sporting stories to life.\nWhat you'll do\nEdit short-form social media videos using footage, imagery, sound and text.\n\nDesign social graphics, carousels and other digital content.\n\nCreate simple animations and motion graphics.\n\nAdapt campaign assets for different platforms and formats.\n\nInterpret creative briefs and produce high-quality content in line with brand guidelines.\n\nManage your workload and deliver projects to agreed deadlines.\n\nCollaborate with the wider creative team, incorporating feedback and refining your work.\n\nKeep up to date with social media trends, formats and creative techniques.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nA passion for sport: You're interested in the athletes, stories and events that capture audiences' attention and excited to bring them to life through creative content.\n\nStrong video editing skills: You understand pacing, storytelling, sound and visual narrative, and know how to create engaging short-form content.\n\nA good eye for design: You have a confident understanding of typography, composition, layout and visual detail.\n\nRelevant experience: You've produced social media content in an agency, in-house or freelance environment.\n\nTechnical skills: You're confident using Premiere Pro and Photoshop, or equivalent editing and design tools, with working knowledge of After Effects for simple animations and motion graphics.\n\nSocial media awareness: You understand different platforms, their audiences and formats, and can spot trends and creative opportunities.\n\nInitiative and ownership: You can take a brief through to finished content without needing step-by-step guidance.\n\nOrganisation: You're comfortable managing multiple pieces of work and delivering high-quality content to deadlines.\n\nA desire to learn: You welcome feedback, ask questions and are keen to keep developing your creative skills.\n\nYour portfolio\nAs part of your application, please include:\nThree short-form social media videos that you personally edited.\n\nTwo examples of graphics or carousels that you personally designed.\n\nA brief explanation of your contribution to each piece, clearly identifying what you were responsible for.\n\nApproximate production time for each piece, so we can understand how you approach the work and deliver content at the pace this role requires.\n\nPersonal projects are welcome alongside professional or client work. Where content was produced collaboratively, please clearly explain your individual contribution.\nWe're looking for clear evidence of strong video editing and competent graphic design, alongside the ability to produce high-quality content efficiently.
