That means real ownership for whoever joins us, and impact you can point to fast.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nFull-Cycle Recruiting:\nOwn full-cycle recruitment for a portfolio of client roles across LATAM - from sourcing through offer acceptance\n\nRun outbound sourcing for specialized and hard-to-fill roles, not just review inbound applicants\n\nScreen and present candidates using clear, structured evaluation instead of gut calls\n\nManage client-side communication: intake calls, candidate presentations, interview coordination, feedback loops\n\nQuality & Standards:\nServe as the final quality check before any candidate reaches a client\n\nSet and maintain recruiting standards, process design, and candidate criteria across every active search\n\nUphold process integrity with clients in line with MSA terms, protecting pipeline quality and candidate experience\n\nStep directly into complex, senior, and high-stakes searches when needed\n\nTeam Leadership:\nCoach and develop recruiters and sourcers - review pipelines and give direct, useful feedback\n\nManage workload distribution across the team so no one carries an unrealistic number of open roles\n\nOwn team-level metrics: pipeline coverage, time to first qualified candidate, submittal-to-interview rate, time to fill, offer acceptance, and 90-day retention\n\nHold the team accountable to targets and flag capacity or performance risks early\n\nProcess & Systems:\nWrite and own the SOPs for how the team recruits - intake, sourcing, screening, presentation, offer, and handoff to onboarding\n\nDesign and maintain structured evaluation frameworks (scorecards, interview guides, assessment criteria) so hiring decisions stay consistent across recruiters\n\nBuild and refine ATS workflows in Ashby: pipeline stages, sequences, templates, reporting\n\nSet the working structure for external and project-based recruiters - briefing, submission, and review\n\nDocument what works so it survives turnover and can be trained instead of reinvented\n\nABOUT YOU\n5+ years in recruitment, including at least 2 years running full-cycle searches independently\n\nExperience leading a recruiting team - you've managed, coached, or directed recruiters, not just carried a senior individual contributor role\n\nA track record of building recruiting processes from scratch: SOPs, workflows, evaluation frameworks, documentation\n\nHands-on recruiting experience in LATAM markets, especially Colombia\n\nStrong outbound sourcing skills - you can build a pipeline from nothing, not just work inbound applicants\n\nFluent English and Spanish, written and spoken - you'll work directly with U.S. clients and LATAM candidates\n\nExperience presenting candidates to and managing expectations with external clients or hiring managers\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHands-on experience with Ashby specifically - you'll move faster from day one (experience with other modern ATS platforms still counts)\n\nBackground in staffing, RPO, EOR, or agency recruiting, where you're used to juggling multiple clients and roles at once\n\nExperience working with external, agency, or commission-based recruiters\n\nA track record placing specialized or senior roles - technical, finance, executive - not only high-volume entry-level searches\n\nA structured mindset - you'd rather build a repeatable process than improvise the same solution twice\n\nWHY YOU'LL LOVE IT\nTake full ownership of Handoff's recruiting function - you're not inheriting a finished system, you're building the next version of it\n\nWork directly with leadership from day one;
