To provide technical expertise in the field and drive equipment enhancement and optimization. To lead large projects related to machine modifications & program modifications out in the field. To be on call for critical troubleshooting needs.\nResponsibilities are:\nPerform all work safely and according to company standards\nWork well with others within the team and throughout the organization\nRegular attendance is an essential function of the position\nProvide electrical and mechanical support to technicians\nPossesses a strong knowledge of VFD (variable frequency drives), HMI (human machine interface), and AMC (advanced motion controller drives). Strong ability to read prints and troubleshoot electrical components\nPossesses advanced knowledge in PLC (programmable logic controller) and ladder logic (Allen Bradley Studio 5000). ABB drives for Unit 1 area, AGV (automated guided vehicle) for Unit 2 area, HVAC (heating ventilation and cooling). Able to make programs, rung changes, set time frequencies, and troubleshoot issues\nAble to program, troubleshoot, and repair all specific Unit equipment\nPerform mechanical/electrical maintenance duties safely, professionally, and to standard while following all company and regulatory safe work and housekeeping practices\nProvide redline changes for drawings and submit to Engineers\nPerform Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations for critical breakdowns\nParticipate in and support Hankook’s continuous improvement programs to include 5S\nDevelop and maintain a partnership approach to operations, quality, and EHS\nInstall, troubleshoot, and maintain all manners of mechanical machines and electrical components\nUse of computer systems to perform diagnostics on electrical components and PLC system\nPerform work from blueprints, sketches, or specifications\nInspect, clean, replace, and repair machines, motors, and other electrical components\nMaintain wiring systems; bend conduit and replace old wiring\nPerform other duties as assigned by management\nRequirements are:\nEducation:\n(Required) high school diploma or GED \nExperience:\n(Required) at least 4 years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial environment \nLanguage:\n(Required) good command of written and spoken English\nSkills & Knowledge:\nMechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance\nOperations Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly\nProduction and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods\nCritical Thinking Skills - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems\nSpeaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively\nWriting - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience\nActive Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times\nReading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; to reach with hands and arms; and to talk and hear\nMobility throughout the facility\nWorking in warm temperatures with no air condition, working outside at times during cold weather\nEmployee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, walk, crouch or crawl\nEmployee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis\nWorking at heights of 10 feet or greater, operating lifting devices, and entering confined spaces\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus\nBenefits:\n401(k), 401(k) matching\nHealth insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nHankook Tire is an equal opportunity employer.
