You will connect planning data with actual shop-floor performance, identify risks early and coordinate practical actions that protect monthly output and delivery commitments.\n\nIn this role, you will:\nBuild and control an integrated production schedule covering multiple workstreams, suppliers and dozens of component types.\n\nExtend and regularly update the production schedule using the existing Excel-based production database.\n\nSet and monitor Takt Time using available production time and demand, and compare it with actual process cycle times.\n\nBreak product lead time into operations, identify bottlenecks and assess monthly capacity and delivery feasibility.\n\nAnalyze standard versus actual time, defects, rework, equipment conditions and work-instruction requirements to determine causes of schedule variance.\n\nVerify actual progress and production constraints on the shop floor and reflect delays, early completion, open issues and expected completion dates in the schedule.\n\nAssign owners and due dates for delays, track actions through closure and escalate unresolved constraints.\n\nPropose schedule recovery, resequencing, bottleneck relief and resource-adjustment options and incorporate approved decisions into the plan.\n\nCoordinate interdependent processes, supplier schedules, component availability and linked production plans.\n\nMaintain accurate Excel data for products, processes, standard and actual time, Takt Time, progress and issues.\n\nWhat you can expect:\nEnd-to-end ownership of a complex, multi-product production schedule.\n\nDirect influence on delivery performance, capacity decisions and schedule recovery.\n\nA role that combines data analysis with regular shop-floor engagement.\n\nAn opportunity to become the local planning focal point throughout the project period.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.\n\nAt least 5 years of experience in production planning, production control or production engineering in machinery or industrial manufacturing.\n\nDemonstrated experience independently managing a complex, multi-product and multi-process production schedule.\n\nStrong understanding of Takt Time, cycle time, lead time, bottlenecks, production capacity, standard time and actual time.\n\nAbility to identify the cause of schedule variance using shop-floor progress, defect, rework, equipment and work-condition data.\n\nPractical Excel skills, including tables, filters, sorting, basic formulas and VLOOKUP or an equivalent lookup function.\n\nWillingness to verify progress and constraints directly on the shop floor rather than relying only on office reports.\n\nStrong follow-up and coordination skills, including the ability to assign owners and deadlines and drive unresolved actions through closure.\n\nAbility to explain schedule risks clearly and propose realistic recovery or lead-time-reduction actions.\n\nWorking English communication skills for coordination with suppliers and international stakeholders.\n\nWillingness to work on-site in Cairo.
