The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nEnsure that all Hanwha Philly Shipyard safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met.\nDevelop Hanwha Philly Shipyard reporting system to meet the changing management needs.\nDevelop the accuracy and quality of Hanwha Philly Shipyard reporting system (including individual reports) to the level needed for Hanwha Philly Shipyard management.\nDevelop the work-methods of Hanwha Philly Shipyard reporting system to increase efficiency and reliability.\nDevelop the IT-system usage rules to meet the reporting needs.\nDevelop the work methods to reveal quickly all possible discrepancies in reporting, using charge number, etc.\nExecute all periodical reports in a timely manner and with high quality.\nCoordination with the shipyard's Finance, Design and Production departments, with Project organization and with other planners.\nSupport BOM ordering process by linking relevant BOMs to the Project Hierarchy.\nSchedule and update the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) based on periodically earned value incorporating Production, Testing & Commissioning, Engineering and Procurement progress.\nParticipate in Project Management Schedule meetings with customers when applicable.\nDevelop reporting, follow-up & project control routines related to the Engineering process, to support HPSI Management, Project Management and primary line departments.\nPreparation of various types of reports needed for Hanwha Philly Shipyard Management, Engineering, Procurement, etc.\nPerform other related duties as required and assigned.\nCOMPETENCIES\nSelf-management\nThoroughness\nFlexibility\nIntegrity\nTime management\nWillingness and ability to work as a team member\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelors of Science or Masters of Science Degree (Emphasis Mathematics, Finance or Engineering) preferred.\nExperience in Manufacturing or Shipbuilding industries preferred.\n1-3 years’ work experience of using ERP systems and basic office tools, and of making management reports.\nExperience in Microsoft Excel including but not limited to PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX / MATCH, data tables, and VBA.\nAdvanced Software skills (ERP, MS Office). \nScheduling experience in Primavera P6 / MS Project preferred.\nBasic knowledge/experience of Project Based Engineering and Production preferred.\nBasic knowledge/experience of modern shipbuilding process and terminology preferred.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nDuties performed in an office area environment within a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities will require routine fieldwork in the shipyard’s fabrication shops, dry docks, and onboard vessels as part of the above activities. These heavy industrial settings may include; noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fume, and smoke, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.\n*Hanwha Philly Shipyard is a TOBACCO-FREE facility.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
