In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of strategic programs, align stakeholders around priorities and dependencies, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.You'll partner closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, Risk, and external vendors to translate business objectives into actionable plans, navigate complex challenges, and drive successful delivery from strategy through launch.\nWhat You'll Do\nManage a portfolio of strategic Marketing and Technology initiatives, supporting planning and prioritization in alignment with Happen Bank's Product Development Life Cycle \nLead complex, cross-functional programs from ideation and strategy through planning, execution, and launch, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives, timelines, and budgets \nPartner with stakeholders across Technology, Product, Marketing, Business, and Risk to define requirements, establish priorities, and align teams around program goals and expected outcomes \nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, resources, dependencies, critical paths, and delivery timelines, proactively identifying risks and resolving obstacles \nEstablish program dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics that provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes \nDrive cross-functional coordination and decision-making, facilitating working sessions, resolving issues, and maintaining clear communication and accountability across stakeholders \nPrepare and present program updates, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to executive leadership, escalating critical issues and decisions as appropriate \nProvide technical program leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders, partnering with platform vendors and cross-functional leaders to manage change, strengthen delivery practices, and ensure program commitments are met \nAbout You\n6+ years of technical program management experience within a technology organization, including leading complex, cross-functional initiatives \nBachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience \nDemonstrated experience managing large-scale technical programs and projects from planning through implementation, including dependencies, risks, resources, and delivery milestones \nStrong understanding of project and program management methodologies, including process improvement and change management \nExcellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment \nStrong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align partners across Technology, Product, Marketing, Business, and Risk \nProven ability to independently drive execution, anticipate challenges, resolve complex issues, and deliver measurable business outcomes \nStrong analytical judgment with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs, communicate risks, and provide clear recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders \nYou have hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate program planning, risk identification, reporting, and problem-solving, and you're comfortable sharing effective approaches with colleagues while applying sound judgment around accuracy, data sensitivity, and where human oversight remains essential \nNice to Have\nExperience with Agile and Scaled Agile delivery methodologies \nEducational or professional background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline \nWork Location\nSan Francisco\nThe above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role’s success, and remote placement will not be considered. Happen Bank offers relocation, based on actual job level.\nTime Zone Requirements\nLocal hours (PT)\nWhile the position will primarily work local hours, Happen Bank is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.\nTravel Requirements\nAs needed travel to Happen Bank offices and/or other locations, as needed.\nCompensation\nThe target base salary range for this position is 156,000-183,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of Happen Bank's Total Rewards package.
