The ideal candidate will have strong embedded development knowledge, focusing on RTOS-based software development and application verification & validation (AVV). You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of embedded control systems for automotive applications, contributing across the full silicon-to-software lifecycle.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop embedded software components for RTOS-based SDKs, including low-level drivers (LLDs), hardware abstraction layers (HALs), RTOS abstraction layers, and board support packages (BSPs).\nCreate example/demo applications to showcase peripheral functionality and performance.\nSupport post-silicon validation (AVV) by creating validation test applications that reuse RTOS SDK components.\nBring up first silicon and validate critical peripherals such as ADC, PWM, CAN, LIN, and watchdogs.\nSupport automation of lab and CI-based test execution.\nCollaborate across teams, working closely with architecture, hardware, safety, and tools teams to align software with silicon capabilities and roadmap.\nContribute to reference software and tooling to aid customers in bootstrapping their own designs.\nAnalyze and debug complex issues using emulators, silicon, and debug tools like OpenOCD, J-Link, or Lauterbach.\nProvide feedback into next-gen MCU architecture based on software validation findings.\nContribute to the wider software ecosystem, ensuring support for the architecture in various open-source projects.\n\nMandatory Skills\n\n58 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems software development.\nStrong skills in C/C++ programming, with basic familiarity in assembly.\nGood understanding of RTOS concepts, including task scheduling, ISRs, and semaphores.\nExperience debugging complex multicore systems and familiarity with debugging tools (OpenOCD, Segger J-Link, Lauterbach).\nExperience porting or developing on FreeRTOS, AUTOSAR OS, or similar platforms.\nFamiliarity with bare-metal development, memory-mapped IO, and driver development.\nExperience in bring-up and debugging on real silicon or FPGA platforms.\nKnowledge of automotive interfaces and protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART.\nPractical exposure to test automation, scripting (Python/bash), and version control (git).\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExposure to ASIL-D software development, ISO 26262 process, or safety validation.\nPrior involvement in post-silicon AVV or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups.\nFamiliarity with RISC-V architecture, instruction sets, and toolchains.\nExperience developing or validating motor control, powertrain, or safety-critical firmware.\nKnowledge of bootloaders, secure update, or system startup firmware.\nAdvantage to candidates with prior Autosar MCAL development experience.\n\nA good candidate with strong C skills and Autosar BSW integration experience will also be considered, but first preference will be given to those
