You will own the full finance cycle across all group entities - accounting, consolidation, reporting, treasury, payroll, tax, and compliance - and turn it into a reliable, scalable function. Beyond keeping the books right, you will be a strategic partner to leadership: building the budget and forecasts, guiding investment and fundraising decisions, and supporting the group's ongoing restructuring and consolidation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone equally comfortable building models, closing the month, and presenting to the board.\nIn This Role You Will\nLead and build the finance function across all HAQQ entities, setting policies, controls, and processes that scale.\nOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, and deliver accurate consolidated and entity-level financial statements.\nManage group consolidation, intercompany transactions, and transfer-pricing arrangements across multiple countries.\nBuild and run the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and financial models; track performance against plan and report variances.\nOversee treasury and cash management, including multi-currency banking, payment providers, and cash-flow forecasting - with particular care for the Lebanese banking environment.\nOversee payroll, vendor payments, billing, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.\nEnsure tax and statutory compliance in every jurisdiction, and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and local accountants.\nSupport fundraising, investor relations, and board reporting, including data rooms, KPIs, and SaaS metrics (ARR, burn, runway, unit economics).\nPartner with leadership and Legal on corporate restructuring, entity setup, and group holding structure.\nOwn and improve the finance tech stack (e.g., QuickBooks Online across entities) and automate reporting where possible.\nProvide financial analysis and recommendations on pricing, hiring, investments, and new markets.\nHire, develop, and manage the finance team.\nYou Might Thrive If You\nRequired\n10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 4 years in a senior finance leadership role (Finance Director, Head of Finance, VP Finance, or CFO-track).\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\nProfessional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA.\nHands-on experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and group consolidation under IFRS and/or US GAAP.\nStrong knowledge of Lebanese tax, labor, and financial regulations, and the practical realities of operating in Lebanon.\nProven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.\nExperience working with auditors, tax advisors, and banks across multiple jurisdictions.\nFluency in English and Arabic.\nBased in Lebanon.\nPreferred\nExperience in a technology, SaaS, or venture-backed startup environment.\nExposure to fundraising, investor reporting, and cap-table management.\nFamiliarity with international, multi-jurisdiction entity and holding structures.\nExperience with QuickBooks Online and finance automation tools.\nBig Four or audit background.\nAbout HAQQ\nHAQQ is a legal technology company building AI for the legal profession.
