Harbinger: Familiar Form, Revolutionary Foundation.\nJob Overview:\nHarbinger is seeking an energetic and experienced Product Line Program Manager to join our Program Management Office. In this role, you will work with a highly innovative team leading the initial launch and productionization of one or more cutting-edge product lines. Reporting to the Director of Engineering Programs, you will coordinate, manage, and communicate the status of engineering programs across our organization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProgram Management:\nDefine, monitor, and deliver key product program activities according to Harbinger’s new product introduction process; coordinate and lead gate reviews.\nDevelop and maintain program health dashboards with key performance indicators and report out to executive leadership.\nCollaborate with engineering teams and cross-functional partners to meet milestones and balance competing priorities, guiding and supporting them to successful launch while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency. \nCross-Functional Coordination:\nWork closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure timely parts development, release, ordering, and delivery.\nIdentify technical, supply chain, or other risks early; report and resolve roadblocks with documented corrective action plans in formal risk register.\nDrive operational alignment across Engineering, Production, and Operations teams.\nPartner with key suppliers on product development (monthly international travel may be required)\nEngineering Process Support:\nPartner with engineering counterparts to follow robust processes, including requirements definition, design reviews, build event planning, and design validation testing.\nIssue Resolution:\nDrive resolution of engineering concerns, ensuring thorough Root Cause Analysis and the implementation of both interim and permanent corrective actions.\nChange and Feature Request Management:\nLiaise with product management and other teams to evaluate feasibility and desirability of product feature changes.\nDevelop and maintain project plans to resolve concerns, implement continuous improvements, and coordinate model year changes.\nDrive the execution of product improvement initiatives (including: cost reduction, durability, serviceability, etc.).\nCollaborate with the change management team to support smooth implementation of cross-functional coordinated changes.\nResource Planning\nSupport Finance and Engineering in budget forecasting and management.\nIdentify and escalate resource constraints to meet deliverables.\nQualifications:\n Education: \nBachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline.\n Experience: \nMinimum of 5 years in a program management role within a technical sector (automotive experience is a plus). \nStartup experience is advantageous.\nProgram launch.\nChange management.\n Technical Skills:\nProficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).\nExperience with SmartSheets or MS Project.\nFamiliarity with Atlassian Jira is a plus.\nCAD experience is a plus.\n Helpful Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with APQP, ISO 9001, ISO 26262, problem-solving frameworks, and other vehicle development systems.\nVehicle hardware integration and packaging.\nVehicle test and validation.\nElectrical system design and harnessing layout.\nAutomotive electronic devices.\nEV powertrains.\nVehicle software and controls.\nAdvanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).\nCore Competencies:\nStrong project management skills from ideation to completion.\nAn ownership mindset and bias for action.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely.\nAbility to work independently in a dynamic environment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nFlexibility to contribute beyond primary job responsibilities.\nKey Benefits & Perks:\nComprehensive Health, Dental & Vision (HDV) - 100% employee covered\nEarly-stage Stock Options\nRobust Retirement Savings (401k, HSA, FSA)\nGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO) & Parental Leave\nAnnual Vacation Bonus\nWellness & Fertility Benefits\nCell Phone Stipend\nComplimentary Meals & Stocked Kitchens\nCalifornia Pay Range\n$120,000—$160,000 USD\nEqual Opportunity\nHarbinger is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
