Developers in this role will also provide technical guidance and support to other technical, analytical, systems or warehouse operations teams as well as collaborate with vendor partners that provide external support.\n*Lacey, WA onsite/hybrid options available with regular check-ins with the Director of ERP Systems and/or Senior WMS Software Developer.\n*Occasional travel for site visits and remote site work may be required as well as occasional after-hours support to resolve processing disruptions.\n** Remote to US Pacific Northwest time zone candidates only if outside Harbor HQ, Lacey, WA.\nCompensation: $70K - 85K DOE\nBenefits Summary: Full line of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; 401k retirement program with company match; vacation, sick time, floater, and holidays; and much more.\nResponsibilities\nLevel I WMS Developer\nA Level I WMS Developer has foundational skills and understandings of database design, query building, development and administration but has less than 3 years of professional experience with warehouse operations or WMS systems. Responsibilities at this level include maintaining database and WMS configurations, report and query building, and functional enhancements to processes that keep warehouse operations running efficiently. This position will work closely with Level II and Level III developers, analysts, and business users to troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, improve data quality, support reporting needs, document processes and enhancements and assist with integrations across ERP, warehouse, and customer facing systems.\nEssential Job Functions\nDesign, develop, optimize and deploy SQL solutions, stored procedures, functions, views, SQL Jobs, and data models that support warehouse operations.\nWriting and maintaining queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and day-to-day operations.\nSupport data validation and cleanup efforts to improve the accuracy of customer, product, logistics and transactional data.\nAnalyze root causes of data issues affecting customer orders, inventory availability, shipments, and financial transactions, and implement durable fixes.\nPartner with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable reporting and data solutions.\nDocument database objects, report logic, recurring data processes and custom enhancements.\nLearn and follow best practices for SQL development, database security, and performance optimization.\nAutomating warehouse processes to reduce redundancy and improve data quality and operational efficiency.\nLead database performance tuning initiatives for high-volume transactional systems, including order management, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse execution. \nQualifications\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nFoundational knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts (on-prem and cloud).\nUnderstanding of tables, joins, views, indexes, stored procedures and basic query optimization.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Mgmt Studio, Visual Studio Code (VSCode), Page Editor, and Advantage Architect.\nDemonstrated strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to follow procedures and resolution exceptions.\nFamiliarity with database tools such as SQL Management Studio; Integration Architecture, and best practices.\nExcellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds.\nStrong familiarity with agile software development practices and tools.\nDemonstrated ability to design and document software solutions.\nTeam player who is also able to work independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively, while delivering high-quality work.\nSolution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of technical training, internship experience, or demonstrated project work may also be considered.\nFor entry-level candidates, certifications may help demonstrate foundational knowledge.
