This is a technical consulting role at the heart of our delivery work, responsible for moving client data safely and accurately into modern HR platforms and for designing and building the integrations that keep those platforms connected to the wider technology landscape.\nYou will work across engagements involving SAP SuccessFactors, Workday and Oracle HCM, taking clients from messy, fragmented legacy data through to clean, validated go live loads, and from integration requirements through to tested, supportable interfaces. The role suits someone who enjoys the detail of data work but can also explain it clearly to HR and business stakeholders who do not speak in file formats.\nThis is a remote position based in the UK, with travel to client sites as needed.\nWhat you will do:\nData migration\nLead and deliver data migration workstreams into SAP SuccessFactors, Workday or Oracle HCM, from strategy and planning through to go live and hypercare\nDefine migration approaches, including scoping of data objects, load sequencing, cutover plans and rollback positions\nProfile and assess legacy data quality, identifying gaps, duplicates and inconsistencies, and agreeing cleansing ownership with the client\nDesign and maintain mapping and transformation rules between legacy sources and target system structures\nBuild, execute and reconcile data loads across multiple test cycles, mock conversions and production cutover\nProduce validation and reconciliation reporting that gives clients confidence in the accuracy and completeness of migrated data\nAdvise clients on data retention, archiving and the treatment of historical records\nIntegration design and delivery\nGather and document integration requirements across HR, payroll, benefits, finance and third party providers\nProduce integration designs and specifications covering data flows, transformation logic, error handling, scheduling and security\nBuild, test and deploy integrations using platform native tooling and middleware\nSupport end to end and payroll parallel testing, resolving defects across connected systems\nDefine monitoring, error resolution and support processes so that integrations are sustainable after go live\nAdvise clients on integration architecture, including the trade offs between point to point connections, middleware and file based approaches\nETL and data engineering\nUse ETL tooling to extract, transform and load data at scale across migration and integration workstreams\nDevelop repeatable, auditable transformation routines rather than one off manual manipulation\nAutomate validation and reconciliation checks where practical to reduce cycle times and manual effort\nContribute to the development of practice accelerators, templates and reusable migration assets\nClient and practice contribution\nAct as the trusted technical voice on engagements, translating data and integration matters into plain language for HR and programme stakeholders\nSupport proposals, scoping and estimating for migration and integration workstreams\nCoach junior consultants and share technical knowledge across the team\nWhat we are looking for:\nEssential\nProven data migration experience into at least one of SAP SuccessFactors, Workday or Oracle HCM, across multiple full lifecycle projects\nIntegration design and technical delivery experience, including producing specifications and building and testing interfaces\nHands on experience with ETL tooling and confidence manipulating large, imperfect datasets\nStrong understanding of HR and payroll data structures, including the sensitivities around personal data and the importance of accuracy at cutover\nExperience running reconciliation and validation across test cycles and production loads\nClear communicator, able to work with both technical teams and HR stakeholders\nRight to work in the UK and willingness to travel to client sites when needed\nDesirable\nExperience across more than one of the three target platforms\nKnowledge of platform specific tooling such as Workday EIB, Core Connectors and Studio, SAP Integration Suite and Infoporter, or Oracle HDL and OIC\nExperience with payroll migrations and parallel run reconciliation\nFamiliarity with UK GDPR and the data protection considerations that apply to migration and integration work\nExposure to professional services or legal sector clients\nConsulting experience, or client-side experience with a clear consulting mindset\nWhat you can expect:\nVaried technical work across three major HR platforms, rather than being tied to a single technology\nA collaborative practice with direct access to senior leadership and genuine input into how we grow\nInvestment in platform certifications and wider professional development\nCompetitive salary, bonus and benefits, with flexible and remote working supported\nAbout Us:\nHarbor is the preeminent provider of expert services across strategy, legal technology, operations, and intelligence.
