This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build experience in software development, systems integration, and legal technology solutions. \nThe Junior Developer will work alongside senior developers, consultants, project managers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to support the development, customization, integration, and maintenance of financial and practice management solutions for law firm clients, with a primary focus on Elite 3E and related legal technology platforms. \nThe successful candidate will have an eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to build technical expertise while contributing to client projects. This role provides hands-on experience with software development, database technologies, integrations, and consulting practices within a collaborative team environment.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nSolution Development & Support \nAssist with the development, customization, testing, and support of solutions within Elite 3E and related platforms. \nSupport the creation and maintenance of workflows, business processes, interfaces, and automation solutions. \nWrite, test, and troubleshoot code under the guidance of senior developers. \nParticipate in debugging and issue resolution activities. \nAssist with application deployments and software updates. \nSystems Integration \nAssist in developing and supporting integrations between financial systems and third-party applications. \nLearn and work with REST APIs, data exchange technologies, and integration tools. \nSupport data transformation and data exchange processes using XML, JSON, and related technologies. \nHelp troubleshoot integration issues and support ongoing maintenance activities. \nConsulting & Client Engagement \nParticipate in project meetings and requirements-gathering sessions. \nAssist with documenting technical requirements, designs, and implementation activities. \nCollaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver project objectives. \nProvide timely updates on assigned tasks and project activities. \nTechnical Operations & Quality Assurance \nFollow established development standards, processes, and best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior team members. \nUse Git or similar source control tools for managing code changes. \nAssist with software testing and quality assurance activities.\nContinuously develop technical and consulting skills through training and hands-on project experience. \nEducation, Experience, and Other Requirements:\nEducation \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred. \nRecent graduates are encouraged to apply. \nEquivalent education, internships, or relevant technical training will be considered. \nExperience \n0-2 years of software development experience. \nInternship, co-op, academic project, or entry-level experience in software development is desirable. \nExposure to Microsoft development technologies or object-oriented programming concepts preferred. \nFamiliarity with APIs, web services, or integration concepts is a plus. \nExperience working in a team environment and willingness to learn new technologies. \nTechnical Skills: \nPreferred Knowledge: \nC# or other object-oriented programming languages \n.NET framework or .NET Core \nREST APIs \nJSON \nXML \nGit or other version control tools \nPower Automate \nNice to Have: \nExposure to Elite 3E or legal technology platforms \nBasic reporting tools \nCloud technologies \nSoftware testing methodologies \nOther Requirements \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn. \nAbility to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. \nStrong organizational and time-management skills. \nProfessional attitude and willingness to work directly with clients when needed. \nAbility to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced consulting environment. \nOccasional travel may be required.\nSuccess in this role means developing strong technical skills, contributing to client projects, learning industry-leading financial and legal technology platforms, and growing into a trusted developer within the consulting practice.
