This fully remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the Philippines. \nRoles and Responsibilities: \nLocate and retrieve legal and business materials-including cases, dockets, statutes, regulations, treatises, SEC filings, and company information-using citations, links, and foundational search techniques. \nConduct assigned legal, company, industry, and market research; develop search strategies, assess sources, and organize and summarize findings with guidance from senior researchers. \nReview documents, data, citations, and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, relevance, and compliance with client instructions and quality-control standards. \nMonitor and respond to client and internal requests, ask clarifying questions, provide timely updates, and escalate issues when needed. \nPrepare professional research summaries, reports, presentations, and Excel workbooks using established templates; accurately enter, organize, review, and analyze information. \nUse request management systems, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related tools to manage workflows, collaboration, and document storage. \nCollaborate with colleagues to complete work on time, contribute to a supportive team environment, and participate in training, knowledge sharing, and professional development. \nDemonstrate Harbor’s values through dependable performance, respectful communication, sound judgment, and a commitment to client service and continuous improvement. \nKey Requirements: \nBachelor’s degree and prior experience in a law firm or legal services environment required. \nExperience retrieving legal and corporate documents, with familiarity with court systems, legal terminology, citations, and research processes. \nWorking knowledge of research platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, Capital IQ, EDGAR, court and docket databases, or comparable resources. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. \nProficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including creating professional presentations and organizing, reviewing, and analyzing data. \nStrong written and verbal communication, professional email etiquette, teamwork, responsiveness, and sound judgment. \nAbility to follow procedures, templates, and client instructions; manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment; and maintain a reliable internet connection. \nSelf-motivated, dependable, and committed to continuous learning and professional growth. \nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience supporting attorneys, librarians, paralegals, or other legal professionals. \nExperience using SEC EDGAR, PACER, court websites, docket platforms, legal request management systems, or comparable resources. \nExperience preparing research summaries, client-facing reports, presentations, or data-driven deliverables. \nInterest in expanding legal, business, market, and competitive research capabilities. \nAbout Us:\nHarbor is the preeminent provider of expert services across strategy, legal technology, operations, and intelligence.
