ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us connect with potential customers in the shipping industry and create new business opportunities.
You’ll be reaching out to prospective customers through cold calling, cold emailing, and direct messaging, introducing HarborLab and sparking conversations that lead to qualified meetings for our sales team.
Your success will be measured by the number of qualified meetings you book.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with people, is comfortable picking up the phone, and is eager to learn and grow in the world of B2B SaaS sales.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Make cold calls to shipowners, ship managers, operators and charterers to introduce HarborLab
- Write and send personalised cold emails and follow-up sequences
- Research target accounts and identify the right decision makers
- Qualify leads and book discovery meetings for the sales team
- Handle early objections and keep conversations moving
- Log all activity and pipeline data accurately in our CRM
- Hit weekly and monthly targets for qualified meetings booked
Requirements
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- 1+ year of experience in an SDR or similar outbound sales role
- Proven track record with cold calling and cold emailing
- Fluent Greek and English, written and spoken
- Confident on the phone and comfortable with rejection
- Clear, concise writing that adapts to different audiences
- Organised, self-motivated and target-driven
- Hands-on experience with a CRM (e.g. HubSpot) and sales engagement tools
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
- Experience selling B2B SaaS
- Knowledge of the shipping or maritime industry
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools
- Knowledge of additional languages, especially a Scandinavian language
