The Learning & Development Specialist (Go To Market) is a contract role responsible for designing and developing high-quality learning solutions that build critical sales enablement capabilities across Harbor’s Client Engagement / Delivery organizations. Working closely with Delivery leaders, subject matter experts, and Learning & Development, this role will translate business priorities, capability needs, and subject matter expertise into practical, engaging, and scalable learning experiences. \nThis is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions in support of GTM priorities. The Specialist will independently drive assigned learning workstreams from needs assessment and design through development and implementation, working directly with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand learning gaps and translate them into effective learning solutions. \nThe role requires strong instructional design and content development expertise, project management capabilities, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of how professionals learn and operate within a fast-paced professional services or consulting environment. The role will work within established GTM priorities and program direction, partnering closely with Learning & Development to ensure learning solutions align with Harbor’s overall learning approach and standards, onboarding experience, brand, UGE, and broader learning ecosystem. \nKey Responsibilities: \nInstructional Design & Content Development: \nPartner with GTM leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and translate business priorities, knowledge gaps, and complex subject matter into clear learning objectives and effective learning solutions. \nDesign and develop practical, engaging learning experiences across multiple modalities, including instructor-led and virtual learning, digital learning, presentations, toolkits, job aids, practice activities, assessments, and reinforcement resources. \nApply adult learning and instructional design principles to recommend appropriate learning approaches, modalities, sequencing, and reinforcement within established program priorities. \nCurate and adapt existing internal and external content where appropriate to accelerate development and create cohesive learning experiences. \nDevelop facilitator guides, participant materials, exercises, case studies, knowledge checks, and other resources to support effective delivery and application. \nEnsure learning materials are polished, consistent, accessible, and aligned with Harbor’s learning and brand standards. \n Learning Project Management: \nIndependently manage assigned learning projects from initial discovery through development, launch, and evaluation. \nDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder responsibilities. \nCoordinate content development and review cycles across Delivery leaders/subject matter experts, Client Engagement, L&D, and other stakeholders. \nManage multiple concurrent learning initiatives while maintaining quality and meeting agreed-upon timelines. \nProactively identify risks, dependencies, scope considerations, and potential barriers and recommend solutions to keep projects moving forward. \nFacilitate effective project meetings, design sessions, content reviews, and stakeholder discussions. \nStakeholder Management & Business Partnership: \nBuild effective working relationships with GTM leaders, subject matter experts, Learning & Development, and cross-functional partners. \nLead discovery conversations with stakeholders and SMEs to understand business context, target audiences, performance gaps, and learning needs. \nApply instructional design expertise to recommend effective learning solutions within established GTM priorities and program direction. \nSynthesize stakeholder and SME input into clear learning requirements, content, and deliverables. \nCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at varying levels of the organization, including senior leaders, and proactively manage feedback, decisions, and next steps. \nDemonstrate strong business acumen and an understanding of the pace, client orientation, and performance expectations of a professional services environment. \nPartner with external learning/content providers as needed, coordinating inputs, reviews, and deliverables and ensuring resulting content meets defined business and learning requirements. \nLearning Technology & Implementation: \nDevelop and maintain digital learning content using tools such as Articulate 360. \nSupport the implementation and launch of learning experiences through Workday Learning, including course setup, testing, learner journeys, materials, and launch readiness as appropriate. \nConduct quality assurance and testing to ensure learning content and experiences function as intended. \nLeverage learning technology and AI-enabled tools, where appropriate, to increase the efficiency and scalability of content development. \nMeasurement & Continuous Improvement: \nDefine appropriate measures of learning effectiveness based on learning objectives and desired business outcomes. \nDevelop assessments, knowledge checks, surveys, and other mechanisms to evaluate learner understanding and experience. \nReview learner feedback, stakeholder input, and available learning data to identify opportunities for improvement. \nRecommend enhancements to learning content, delivery approaches, and supporting resources based on data and feedback. \nCapture lessons learned and reusable content or approaches that can support future learning initiatives. \n Qualifications: \nBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field. \n7+ years of relevant experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or Learning & Development, with demonstrated experience independently owning learning deliverables and workstreams for adult learners. \nStrong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, curriculum development, and blended learning approaches, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical, engaging learning experiences. \nStrong project and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder relationships. \nExcellent written and verbal communication and consulting skills, including the ability to facilitate discovery, synthesize complex information, provide recommendations, and develop polished, audience-appropriate content. \nExperience working within professional services, consulting, sales enablement, or a similarly fast-paced, knowledge-based environment strongly preferred. \nProficiency with PowerPoint and learning/content development tools such as Articulate 360; familiarity with Workday Learning or a comparable LMS preferred. \nHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability
