Specifically, we are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to assist our corporate legal department and law department clients in identifying ways to improve strategy and operations and become more optimized legal functions through enhanced allocation of resources, streamlined processes, and improved use and adoption of technology. \nThis Team Lead role will provide leadership on client engagements and is responsible for maintaining day-to-day client interactions, delivering high quality client deliverables, project management, budget management and supervising and developing junior staff. This is a fully remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the United States. \nRole and Responsibilities: \nSupports practice leadership in business development activities \nWork with client personnel to structure a mutually agreed upon project plan \nServe as the day-to-day leader on engagements, including developing team members \nLead the data gathering process including analyzing client reports, conducting various interviews and focus groups, and developing and distributing surveys \nWork closely with team members and client personnel to review findings and help support implementation of recommendations \nLead the client invoicing process including reviewing and approving all time entries and invoices \nLead internal practice initiatives such as developing new revenue channels, other internal practice initiatives, proposals, recruiting, and external marketing efforts and thought leadership \nDemonstrate industry/practice expertise and consulting capabilities \nImplement proven solutions for recognized problems \nUnderstand and speak to the capabilities of Harbor including key products and service offerings across other Advisory service lines \nQualifications and Education Requirements: \nBA, BBA or BS in Business, Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Accounting or Finance preferred \n7-8 years' experience in a combination of the following: Big 4 or similar consulting environment \nLaw department or law firm operations \nOutside counsel management \nBenchmarking and data analysis \nLegal resource optimization \n\nManagement experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred \nDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members. \nTravel is required domestically approximately up to 25%. \nPreferred Skills: \nAdvanced skills and expertise across the Microsoft Suite of Products including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
