For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.\nWe are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our Quantitative Investment Science organization. This role is ideal for a technology professional with a strong passion for data, automation, and modern DevOps practices who thrives in sophisticated, high-impact environments.\nThe successful candidate will collaborate with quantitative researchers, data and application engineers, vendors, and IT partners. They will develop, deploy, and support robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments. You will play a critical role in supporting the full application and data lifecycle-from development through production-within our Azure-based Investment Data Analytics Platform. Your contributions will directly enhance development efficiency, system reliability, and operational excellence across the organization.\nThe ideal candidate is someone who:\nEnjoys building software, automation, and platforms that improve developer productivity and system reliability with a strong engineering mindset.\nHas strong experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and Git based development workflows.\nWrites clean, maintainable scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation and operations.\nHas experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, preferably in Microsoft Azure, along with containerization and deployment practices.\nCan support production systems through troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and collaborates effectively across engineering and business teams..\nWhat you will do:\nDesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, approval, and deployment workflows.\nBuild internal tools, services, and automation to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.\nDesign and support IAC solutions for Azure cloud resources, networking, storage, and compute.\nImplement and manage containerized application deployments using technologies such as Docker.\nDrive observability, incident response, and production support while partnering with engineering teams to improve reliability and release processes.\nWhat you bring:\nStrong experience with scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python), CI/CD systems, and Git-based workflows.\nExperience with Azure cloud services, IAC tools (Terraform, Bicep, or similar), and container technologies.\nSolid understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, and operational support for production systems.\nExperience with modern data platforms, including Snowflake and analytics focused environments.\nStrong testing, communication, and collaboration skills with a track record of delivering complex engineering initiatives.\nEducation Preferred:\nBachelor of Arts (B.A) / Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree or equivalent experience\nExperience:\n6+ Years of DevOps experience in cloud-based software delivery Experience working within the financial services or investment management industry preferred \n\nBase Salary Range\n$135,000.00 - $145,000.00\nThis USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus eligibility, total compensation may include participation in long-term reward programs (typically for more senior-level roles). We also offer a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement contributions, health insurance, income protection, paid time off and leave benefits as well as well-being programs.
