We’re taking that foundation of success and bringing it to the digital space - ready to join us?\nWhat’s the Position?\nWe are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and strategic Senior Manager of Payments Analytics to lead and evolve our payments operations and strategy across the organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing payment processing performance, optimizing payment operations, managing key vendor relationships, driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring seamless customer payment experience across multiple payment channels and products.\nYou’ll bring a strong blend of strategic leadership, operational expertise, and analytical problem-solving within the payments and fintech space. You’ll need deep knowledge of payment processing ecosystems, compliance requirements, risk mitigation, and ecommerce payment flows while thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\nThis role will report directly to the Director of Payments.\nKey Responsibilities\nPayments Strategy & Leadership\nDevelop and execute a scalable payments strategy aligned with HRD’s operational and business objectives.\n\nLead initiatives focused on improving payment acceptance rates, reducing payment friction, and optimizing payment performance.\n\nServe as a subject matter expert on payment operations, processors, and industry best practices.\n\nPartner cross-functionally with Risk, Fraud, Compliance, Product, and Operations teams to support strategic business initiatives.\n\nPayment Operations & Optimization\nMonitor payment performance metrics, transaction trends, declines, chargebacks, disputes, and operational KPIs.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve authorization rates, reduce processing costs, and enhance customer experience.\n\nAnalyze payment data and operational trends to proactively identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities.\n\nDevelop scalable operational processes and reporting frameworks to support business growth.\n\nVendor & Processor Management\nEvaluate vendor performance, negotiate operational improvements, and ensure service level expectations are met.\n\nPartners with vendors and internal teams to implement enhancements and support new payment capabilities.\n\nCompliance, Risk & Regulatory Oversight\nPartner closely with Fraud and Risk teams to support payment security and operational integrity.\n\nAssist in identifying and mitigating operational and financial risks associated with payment processing activities.\n\nTechnology & Process Improvement\nCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve payment infrastructure, workflows, and integrations.\n\nSupport implementation of new payment methods, tools, and technologies to scale operations efficiently.\n\nDrive automation and operational efficiencies through data-driven decision making and process enhancement initiatives.\n\nRequirements\nWhat Are We Looking For?\nWe’re looking for strategic thinkers with deep payments industry knowledge, strong analytical capabilities, and proven operational leadership experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and has a passion for ecommerce, fintech, sports, and gaming.\nQualifications\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in payments, payment operations, fintech, ecommerce, risk management, or related fields, preferably within the iGaming, online payments, or ecommerce industry.\n\nStrong understanding of payment processing ecosystems including credit cards, ACH, PayPal, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods.\n\nExperience managing payment processors, gateways, banking relationships, and third-party vendors.\n\nProven success optimizing payment performance, operational workflows, and payment acceptance strategies.\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex operational concepts into actionable business insights.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and make data-driven decisions.\n\nKnowledge of payment compliance requirements, regulatory standards, and card brand rules.\n\nExperience handling chargebacks, disputes, payment risk, and operational escalations preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with SQL, reporting tools, AI and data analytics platforms is a plus.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment.\n\nWhat’s in It for You?\nWe offer our employees more than just competitive compensation.
