We're taking that foundation of success and bringing it to the digital space - ready to join us?\nWhat’s the position?\nHard Rock Digital is seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Systems & Integrations Engineer to design, build, and operate the systems and integrations behind our growing use of AI across the company. This role sits within IT Operations and reports directly to the Director of IT. You will be responsible for connecting large language model platforms to internal systems, building and maintaining internal automation tooling, and supporting the secure, compliant rollout of AI across a global workforce of 1,300+ employees.\nKey Responsibilities\nAI Platform Integration\nDesign, build, and maintain integrations connecting large language model platforms and other AI tooling to internal systems (identity management, ticketing/ITSM, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and similar).\n\nOwn and evolve internal automation bots and agents that streamline IT operations workflows, including integration with identity systems and ticketing platforms.\n\nSupport and extend the company's enterprise AI platform deployment, including application registrations, authentication/authorization flows, secrets management, and cloud-hosted proxy services.\n\nEvaluate new AI tools, vendors, and integration patterns, and translate them into working systems.\n\nSystems & Identity Support\nBuild and maintain identity and endpoint management tooling, including deployment pipelines, proactive remediation scripts, and reporting integrations.\n\nPartner with DevOps and security stakeholders on credential architecture, network requirements, and secure-by-design integration patterns.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve integration failures across identity, endpoint management, and AI tooling layers, from authentication/SSO issues to connector bugs.\n\nGovernance & Compliance\nBalance delivery speed with the governance, risk, and compliance requirements of a heavily audited gaming environment.\n\nDesign integrations with audit trails, access control, and regulatory review in mind.\n\nDocumentation & Collaboration\nDocument architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures so systems are supportable beyond a single engineer.\n\nAct as a technical thought partner to the Director of IT on the ongoing build-out of the Platforms, Tools & AI function.\n\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\n5+ years of experience in systems engineering, integrations engineering, or platform engineering, with real production ownership.\n\nHands-on experience building with LLM APIs and a working understanding of agentic tooling, tool-calling, and AI integration protocols.\n\nStrong scripting/programming ability (e.g., Python and/or JavaScript) for building integrations, automation, and internal tooling.\n\nExperience with enterprise identity platforms and directory/API-based identity management, including app registrations, authentication flows, conditional access, and directory management.\n\nExperience with cloud infrastructure, including containerized services, secrets management, and major cloud provider platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with endpoint/device management platforms for both macOS and Windows fleets.\n\nComfort working in a regulated environment, with experience designing integrations around audit, access control, and compliance requirements.\n\nStrong troubleshooting instincts across the full stack: identity, network, endpoint, and application layers.\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with ITSM/ticketing platforms and their APIs.\n\nExperience building chat-native bots or integrations for internal collaboration platforms.\n\nExposure to AI governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, OWASP Agentic Top 10) or experience in a company formalizing responsible AI adoption.\n\nBackground in gaming, sports betting, or another highly regulated industry.\nKey Competencies\n\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills\n\nExcellent documentation and technical writing abilities\n\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities\n\nEffective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences\n\nSound judgment around security, privacy, and compliance trade-offs\n\nCollaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams\n\nContinuous learning mindset for a fast-evolving AI landscape\nWorking Conditions\n\nFully remote position, based anywhere in the United States\n\nStandard business hours with occasional flexibility for maintenance and releases\n\nSome after-hours work required for major deployments or incident response\n\nCoordination with global teams across multiple time zones\n\nSalary Range: To be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market benchmarking.\nThis position at Hard Rock Digital is subject to background checks and may require gaming license eligibility depending on role and jurisdiction.
