This position will report into our reporting team which will build data automation applications to ensure accurate and timely reports. We are looking for individuals passionate about data in general, data technologies, and the use of these technologies to automate business processes.\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\nWe are looking for an engineer who is willing to tackle problems with innovative ideas and quality technical implementations. We believe the perfect candidate isn’t interested in just what we’re building right now, but wants to understand where we’re going and how it impacts the downstream consumer or customer to ensure everything we create moves us closer to our goal: to optimize all aspects of online gaming and providing the best overall customer experience.\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nDegree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent work experience (8+ years)\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills (both written and verbal)\n\nProven track record at using technology to automate data processes\n\nStrong SQL skills, including Jinja templating / DBT\n\nExperience with Snowflake and Airflow (Astronomer)\n\nExperience with Python including exposure to data science packages (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn)\n\nExperience manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets (Spark)\n\nAn understanding of AWS Cloud technologies and how to create scalable applications\n\nExposure to and interest in the following technologies:\nAWS Serverless and serverless-supported languages\n\nSQL and/or NoSQL experience (ex, MySql, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Snowflake)\n\nStreaming technologies (Amazon Kinesis, Kafka)\n\nMessage Queues (SQS, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)\n\nComfort working within an agile development cycle and exposure to:\nLinux development\n\nGit and versioning software\n\nBuild systems (Maven, SBT, Gradle, etc) and common build patterns\n\nExperience automating data flows and reporting in a regulated environment a plus\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWe offer our employees more than just competitive compensation.
