Find out more at www.harder.com.\nWe have immediate openings for talented Project Engineers with experience managing construction projects ranging from $250,000 - $15 million or more.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nYou will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing a specific scope of the project you are assigned to at Harder.\nProject Engineers at Harder perform the following daily tasks:\nPlan and execute assigned mechanical scopes on large mission critical data center projects\nCoordinate daily with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, designers, and owners to maintain project progress\nReview mechanical, plumbing, piping, and equipment drawings to verify constructability and identify potential conflicts before installation \nDevelop work packages, installation plans, and short-term look-ahead schedules that support field execution\nTrack labor productivity, quantities installed, earned value, and percent complete\nPrepare labor forecasts, equipment forecasts, and cost projections for assigned scopes\nCoordinate procurement activities including material releases, purchase orders, fabrication status, deliveries, and inventory management\nManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, turnover documentation, and as-built drawings\nSupport commissioning activities, startup planning, system turnover, and owner acceptance\nIdentify project risks early and work collaboratively to develop solutions\nMentor Field Engineers and provide guidance as they develop their technical and project management skills\nPromote Harder's safety culture by ensuring all work is planned and executed safely\n What you will need to be successful in this role:Understanding of mechanical construction systems including HVAC, piping, plumbing, process piping, and equipment installation \nAbility to interpret mechanical coordination drawings, shop drawings, and BIM models \nExperience coordinating with multiple trades in fast-paced construction environments \nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously \nComfortable working in remote project locations and active construction environments \nWorking knowledge of Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel (preferred)\nEducation/Experience:1 - 4 years of construction management experience\nBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits - 100% of employee premiums are paid by the company\nGenerous retirement package includes: 10% retirement contribution made by the company and a company match up to 2% of your annual salary\nProfit sharing\nDiscretionary annual bonus\nPaid vacation and holidays\nHarder University training and development, as well as other paid professional development opportunities\nTeam environment that promotes individual growth\nHMC reserves the right to perform a drug screening and background check, as may be required, and this offer may be contingent on passing a drug screening and background check\nThis position is salaried.
