Find out more at www.harder.com.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nAs a Project Manager, you will provide overall leadership for one or more mechanical scopes on a large-scale data center project. You will be responsible for planning, execution, financial performance, client relationships, and successful project delivery from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover. This position is a mid-level to senior role that is fundamental in supporting each market sector that Harder works in.\nProject Managers at Harder perform the following daily tasks:\nLead all aspects of assigned mechanical construction scopes from planning through project closeout\nDevelop and execute project strategies that prioritize safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and client satisfaction\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with owners, general contractors, design teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams\nManage project budgets, forecasts, change management, and cost reporting to ensure financial success\nOversee procurement of major mechanical equipment, fabricated systems, materials, and subcontracted work while mitigating supply chain risks\nLead project scheduling efforts in collaboration with field leadership to support project milestones\nPartner with field leadership and the project team to develop work plans, staffing strategies, and execution plans for complex mechanical installations\nReview project risks, identify potential issues early, and implement proactive solutions to minimize impacts to schedule and budget\nEnsure RFIs, submittals, change orders, turnover documentation, commissioning activities, and closeout requirements are completed accurately and on time\nProvide leadership, coaching, and professional development for project engineers\nPromote Harder's culture of safety and operational excellence throughout every phase of the project\nRepresent Harder during owner meetings, coordination meetings, progress reviews, and executive-level project discussions\nWhat you will need to be successful in this role:Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and process piping\nProven ability to manage large, fast-paced construction projects\nStrong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, productivity tracking, and change management\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills\nExperience leading high-performing project teams in collaborative environments\nStrong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, procurement, and commissioning processes\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and construction management software such as Procore; experience with Primavera P6 is preferred\nCommitment to continuous improvement and Lean Construction principles\nEducation/Experience:7+ years of project management experience, preferably with a focus on mechanical systems\nBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education\nBenefitsCompetitive salary\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits - 100% of employee premiums are paid by the company\nGenerous retirement package includes: 10% retirement contribution made by the company and a company match up to 2% of your annual salary\nProfit sharing\nDiscretionary annual bonus\nPaid vacation and holidays\nHarder University training and development, as well as other paid professional development opportunities\nTeam environment that promotes individual growth\nHMC reserves the right to perform a drug screening and background check, as may be required, and this offer may be contingent on passing a drug screening and background check.\nThis position is salaried.
