At H&H, you’ll join a firm that is building on its legacy by aligning expertise, expanding opportunity, and positioning itself for long-term, sustainable growth.\nResponsibilities\nMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP and FAR requirements\nPrepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals and reclassifications\nSupport month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting\nPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies\nEnsure proper classification of direct, indirect, and unallowable costs in compliance with FAR guidelines\nAssist with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation\nMaintain documentation to support FAR compliance, audit trails, and internal accounting policies\nCoordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Project Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial postings\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting\nThree or more years of general ledger or corporate accounting experience\nWorking knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements. FAR training can be provided on the job.\nStrong understanding of GAAP and internal control environments\nExperience with ERP accounting systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills\nStrong attention to detail with effective analytical and problem-solving abilities\nBenefits\nSalary range - $75,000-$95,000 annually.
