The role purpose is to manage and oversee the efficient transfer of client assets into and out of the company's management, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately, compliantly, and within agreed service standards. The role acts as a key liaison between clients, financial advisers, custodians, platforms, and investment providers throughout the transfer process.\nThe successful candidate will flourish when working closely as part of a team to complete core tasks, whilst also understanding the importance of taking individual ownership of their work. In line with the HL values, the successful candidate will have a desire to improve existing processes, grow their own knowledge, and implement change.\nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProcess client transfers in and out of the business across a range of investment products and accounts.\n\nMonitor transfer progress and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.\n\nMaintain accurate records of all transfer activities and communications.\n\nLiaise with clients, advisers, custodians, platforms, fund managers, and third-party providers.\n\nProvide regular updates on transfer status and expected completion timelines.\n\nRespond to transfer-related enquiries professionally and promptly.\n\nContribute to ensuring all relevant controls are robust, operated effectively and fully documented\n\nEnsuring team processes are reliable and effective\n\nTaking part in wider department projects when opportunities arise\n\nAbout you\nEssential\nHave worked in a fast-moving environment, with a proven ability to work to the highest possible standards of accuracy and service.\n\nHave worked as part of an effective and successful team\n\nAbility to work under pressure\n\nExcellent attention to detail\n\nGood analytical/problem solving skills\n\nStrong team member who can manage fluctuating workloads\n\nAbility to learn quickly, and apply knowledge within differing contexts\n\nDesirable\nExperience of in-house systems, such as Broker Focus and Atlas\n\nExperience working in at least one financial services team\n\nGood business, regulatory, investment & operational knowledge\n\nExperience with transfer in/out processes\n\nInterview process\nCompetency based interview conducted through Microsoft Teams\nWorking Schedule\nMonday to Friday, shifts between 8am - 6pm. 37.5 hours a week\nWhy us?\nHere at HL, we’re the UK’s number 1 investment platform for private investors, based in Bristol.
