With experience at this level, the expectation is to assist in the design of larger and more complex automation and controls engineering assignments or lead smaller automation projects. This work will be performed under general supervision.\nPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nRecognizing and communicating scope and design changes promptly.\n\nProviding on-site assistance during startup.\n\nProviding technical guidance to less experienced engineering personnel in the department.\n\nCoordinating work activities with other staff members and C&A Office Leaders.\n\nProducing control system installation specifications.\n\nDeveloping conceptual layouts and cost studies on small projects as necessary to determine the most simple, efficient approach to solving engineering tasks at hand.\n\nConfiguring control systems with an overall emphasis on ease of maintenance and completed product meeting the expectations of the client.\n\nConsulting with design leaders from other disciplines to ensure the smooth flow of vital information necessary for the scheduled completion of the project.\n\nReviewing and checking vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for Controls & Automation input.\n\nPerforming fieldwork necessary to gather field data and retrieve existing control system configuration.\n\nThis position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including paid time off, health insurance benefits, and matching retirement contributions.\nIdeal Background\nEducation: Bachelor or Master degree of Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering from an accredited university is required.\nRegistration: Engineer in Training (EIT) registration is required.
