Work will be performed under minimal supervision. \nPrimary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nLead assigned portion of outage scope through planning and construction\nDevelop scope for assigned work orders within the outage, identifying secondary and/or support disciplines required.\nCreate detailed planning activities for each work order utilizing planning templates as applicable. Activities include individual tasks, manpower, durations, and assigned discipline.\nProvide daily schedule updates during outage executions\nCreate job planning packages for each work order for both internal and external distribution, e.g., bid events, contractor field personnel, etc. Packages may include pictures, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, safe work procedures, applicable standards, QC requirements, etc.\nSupport Management of Change process, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner.\nProvide contractor field management in all outage phases for assigned contractors, including safety, timesheet verification, field oversight, change orders, and QC verification.\nUphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites. Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas.\nComplete close out and documentation as required by standards and procedures.\nIdeal Background\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.\nExperience: Requires 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:\nAbility to read and understand P&IDs, ISO’s, piping isometrics, fixed equipment design packages, and pipe specs.\nProficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote, SAP, Primavera P6.\nWorking knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME Sec. I, and ASME Sec. VIII\nPrevious experience building execution work packages with detailed work plans including safety matrix, picture, P&ID, isometric, bill of material, etc.\nSafety oriented and unwilling to compromise on safety rules, processes, and procedures\nStrong organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills. Strong leadership abilities.\nWilling to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, following strict fatigue management guidelines. \nWorks professionally and harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, management, support personnel, program participants, and business-related persons.\nUtilizes positive and constructive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts.\nAccepts direction, criticism, and supervision.\nDemonstrates ability to remain calm in demanding situations.\nMakes good use of time, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.\nValid TWIC\nAbility to perform other duties as assigned.\nTravel Requirements:\nTravel required up to 25-45% of the year depending on TAR occurrences and assignments.\nAbility to take trips during the Planning Phase to gather information necessary to properly plan work scope defined.\nRequired to be on-site for the duration of the Outage Execution timeframe to coordinate contractors executing planned work scopes, and to ensure Safe Work Practices and QAQC processes are being followed.
