Project engineering efforts include all facets of scope development, detailed project design, and construction supervisionThis work will be performed under minimal supervision in Okmulgee, OK.\nPrimary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nCoordinate and supervise design efforts and provide field monitoring to ensure construction compliance with designs.\n\nIncorporate safety and regulatory compliance into all assigned projects scope and design.\n\nConduct and Participate in PHA, MOC and Pre-Start Up Safety reviews, PSM audits, and Incident Investigations.\n\nDevelop process flow sheets, preliminary plant layouts, and P&IDs.\n\nPerform or direct preparation of process and detail design calculations as required.\n\nCheck detail design work, drawings and calculations performed by designers and drafting personnel.\n\nSelect equipment to perform a specific function and develop or direct development of specifications for the equipment or process.\n\nDevelop cost estimates, construction schedules and maintain cost control on projects.\n\nDevelop bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids from various contractors.\n\nApprove purchase requisitions for equipment and construction activities within the limits set by the appropriation and grant of authority.\n\nEstablish and maintain project files and enter material into permanent equipment and process files.\n\nCoordinate, control and supervise design personnel assigned to projects.\n\nMaintain current knowledge or access to applicable codes and regulations.\n\nEnsure contractor compliance with site contractor safety policy\n\nIdeal Background\nEducation: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.\nExperience: Requires 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management. Experience in food manufacturing or chemical industries preferred.\nKnowledge of the project execution procedures.\n\nKnowledge and application of company business standards and good practices.\n\nMaintain project control and accountability until the projects are accepted by the manufacturing group and all project goals are met.\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills are required.\n\nStrong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite\n\nSix Sigma or Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.\n\nWorking knowledge of SAP is a plus.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.\n\ntulsa\nHargrove Culture\nWe work to create an environment founded on trust, personal integrity, and a “team mentality” so that each person understands the value of their contributions both on a project and company-wide level.
