This work will be performed under general supervision.\nPrimary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:\nRotating equipment SME - Equipment evaluation, performance monitoring, maintenance repair support \nConduct analysis of equipment reliability performance, develop improvement strategies collaborating with Maintenance and Operations teams \nSupports scheduled turnarounds and unplanned unit shutdowns as necessary for the site. \nAssist the operating units with day-to-day equipment troubleshooting in their area of responsibility. \nManage the review, modification, and addition of preventative maintenance task with CMMS system for rotating equipment \nSupport/Lead equipment failure investigations collaborating with maintenance, operations and engineering teams \nDevelops repair timelines for critical equipment undergoing routine and major maintenance work \nRepresent maintenance/reliability interest at project kickoff meetings and communicate any impacts to the maintenance team \nDevelop and implement maintenance procedures and processes as needed \nSteward the maintenance work process through review of KPI’s and metrics\nLead cost improvement initiative projects\nIdeal Background\nEducation: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.\nRegistration: Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.\nExperience: This position requires 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nKnowledge of design standards and codes.\nKnowledge, application and specification of piping materials.\nDevelopment of piping material and material procurement specifications.\nKnowledge of good design practices for sizing all piping systems.\nSizing of compressible fluid piping systems.\nFlexibility and stress analysis of moderately complex piping systems.\nSpecify criteria for and select piping specialty items.\nDesign of moderately complex process and utility piping systems.\nKnowledge of manual valve sizing, use and application.\nKnowledge of application of piping supports and restraints.\nIdentification of need, application and specification of safety valves and devices to maintain the mechanical integrity of piping systems.\nIdentification of need, application and specification of steam traps and liquid drainers.\nEstimating piping related construction quantities from conceptual documents.\nKnowledge of other disciplines deliverable development to ensure coordination of design efforts.\nKnowledge and application of company engineering design and CAD drafting standards.\nKnowledge of the discipline specific methods, practices and techniques required to engineer, design and construct process and manufacturing projects.\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\nExcellent presentation skills.\nVirtual team skills and cross divisional relationships are developed and able to provide interoffice execution support with general supervision.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.\nHargrove Culture\nWe work to create an environment founded on trust, personal integrity, and a “team mentality” so that each person understands the value of their contributions both on a project and company-wide level.
