You will work on vehicle communication, AUTOSAR integration, CAN/CAN-FD signal management, and MCU-to-SoC communication for next-generation cockpit and infotainment systems. This is an individual contributor role involving development, debugging, and system integration activities across multiple automotive domains.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop and maintain embedded software for IOC applications.\nIntegrate and validate automotive CAN/CAN-FD signals.\nAnalyze customer DBC files and implement signal mapping.\nConfigure AUTOSAR Basic Software modules and generate configurations.\nDevelop and debug low-level drivers for SPI, UART, I2C, GPIO, ADC, and PWM interfaces.\nSupport IOC and SoC communication interfaces.\nPerform root cause analysis of software and integration issues.\nSupport flashing, bring-up, testing, and production releases.\nCollaborate with platform, middleware, HMI, and vehicle integration teams.\nParticipate in code reviews and support software quality and process compliance activities.\nWhat You Need to Be Successful\n3-8 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development.\nStrong knowledge of Embedded C programming and real-time embedded systems.\nHands-on experience with CAN and CAN-FD protocols.\nStrong understanding of DBC-based signal integration and vehicle communication.\nExperience with AUTOSAR modules\nHands-on experience with Vector DaVinci Configurator.\nExperience using Vector CANoe and/or CANalyzer.\nExperience with MCU platforms such as:\nv Renesas RH850\nv Infineon Aurix\nv NXP S32\nv STM32\nStrong debugging skills in embedded and automotive environments.\nExperience with communication interfaces:\nv SPI\nv UART\nv I2C\nv GPIO\nv ADC\nv PWM\n\nBonus Points if You Have\nKnowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety concepts.\nExperience with UDS diagnostics and DTC handling.\nExperience with Automotive Ethernet protocols.\nKnowledge of Bootloader development and firmware update mechanisms.\nExperience with MCU-to-SoC communication architectures.\nExperience working on Automotive Cockpit, Infotainment, Cluster, or Vehicle Integration programs.\nFamiliarity with Qualcomm automotive platforms.\nExperience in A2B audio systems and display control interfaces.\nExperience with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and CI/CD environments.\nWhat Makes You Eligible\nBE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work effectively in global and cross-functional teams.\nWillingness to work with global stakeholders and support integration activities across multiple domains.\nFlexibility to work with distributed teams across different time zones when required.\nHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
