You will be responsible for ensuring database performance, availability, security, and scalability while supporting modernization, migration, automation, and high availability initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will deliver reliable and business-critical database solutions across a diverse technology landscape.\nHow You’ll Make An Impact\nManage and optimize enterprise database platforms across SQL and NoSQL technologies, ensuring high performance, availability, and security. \nDesign and implement database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions to support business continuity requirements. \nLead database migration, consolidation, and modernization projects across on-premises and cloud environments, including Azure and AWS DBaaS services to keep entire environment consistent and compliant. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, troubleshoot, and automate database operations while driving best practices and continuous improvements. \nWhat Makes You A Strong Fit\n7+ years’ experience and deep knowledge of MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB databases (at least 3 of them). \nExperience in managing and maintaining geographically dispersed database environment. \nStrong understanding of MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB platform, configuration dependencies and licensing. \nExperience with database consolidation and migration within cloud and on-premises. \nExperience with database high availability solutions and replication. \nUnderstanding database security concepts, risks, and best practices. \nExperience in backup/restore and disaster recovery solutions. \nDeep knowledge about optimal deployment and management of MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB databases. \nAbility to collaborate with project teams to plan, design and implement secure and optimal database solutions adequate to their needs. \nCloud knowledge - DBaaS solutions on Azure and AWS; storage solutions, monitoring, backup/restore, VMs. \nDeep knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. \nScripting ability to automate processes and daily tasks. \nExperience in troubleshooting and optimizing databases. \nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \nStrong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities. \nSelf-motivated with a proactive mindset and a desire to continuously learn new technologies. \nAble to work independently, communicate with business users and document requirements & architecture. \nStrong attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality solutions. \nStrong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation. \nBonus Points if You Have\nKnowledge of other database flavors, like InfluxDB, MariaDB, CosmosDB, etc. \nWillingness to work in complex multi-national / multi-cultural environments. \nAbility to manage multiple high priority efforts; competing priorities and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements. \nThings To Know\nThis role is based in Bangalore and follows a hybrid schedule, with regular in-office collaboration alongside engineering, product, and customer program teams. \nThis position supports global environment and require working rather in Europe time zone.
