Additionally, this role will be the owner of the Manufacturing BOM during the change process for the Manufacturing facility to ensure changes are controlled, released, and implemented successfully.\nThis role will work across multiple business functions to develop and release Bill of Materials communicating constantly with, Manufacturing Business Unit Leads, Advanced Manufacturing Engineers, Quality representatives, Group Change Analysts and Product Engineers\nThis role will be a be a subject matter expert in process and tools used to perform job responsibilities.\nWhat You Will Do\nCreate and maintain Manufacturing Bill of Materials, as a key role in engineering and manufacturing change management process through the entire product lifecycle (cradle to grave)\nLead as a system and process expert in coordinating the flow of engineering changes to the manufacturing BOM. Tasks include aligning with materials and production teams on implementation dates with regards to the ERP and plant change implementation process\nProcess MBOM changes in Teamcenter based on released or updated Engineering Bill of Materials, documentation updates, or any approved change requests\nCollaborate with the product and manufacturing engineering teams to manage an accurate manufacturing BOM, according to production processes\nAlign the Manufacturing BOM and documentation to the required Bill of Process (BOP) for the product design in the designated facilities\nEnsure data standards and process requirements are met\nLead and engage as the MBOM owner in change review meetings, to ensure Changes processed to the Manufacturing Bill of Material are released and implemented with high level of quality\nAct as functional owner of Manufacturing Bill of Materials responsible for structure and content\nAct as the Manufacturing BOM owner by executing Change Notices to release or update Manufacturing Bill of Material structures or documentation.\nDevelop and maintain knowledge base at a subject matter expert level for change management processes and tools\nTroubleshoot data integrity issues identified by customers, suppliers, management and seek solutions allowing for resolution\nDevelop strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization, in specific Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, and Program Management Stakeholders\nAct as Subject Matter Expert for Team Center PLM software\nActive involvement in identifying continuous improvement ideas for process and tool improvement\nActively lead training when necessary to educate team members on Team Center and functional requirements to support the change process.\nWhat You Need to Be Successful\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing discipline\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations or change management role\nExcellent understanding and practical experience with Bill of Material creation and management\nExcellent understanding with practical experience with Change Management processes and tools\nExcellent understanding of manufacturing process and technology\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nExceptionally self-motivated and directed while working in teams and motivate others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nDemonstrated ability to coach and effectively influence team members and associates to adopt new ways of working in a virtual global environment\nStrong Problem solving/ root cause analysis skills\nRisk-based thinking knowledge\nMicrosoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint\nInterpersonal skills\nResult Driven\nBonus Points if You Have\nExperience in Team Center PLM Software, SAP ERP Software, MES Software\nExperience in digital change, process, data, systems, solution design thinking\nExperience with Electronic and Audio products\nCMII certification\nProfessional certification in change management / project management\nKnowledge and application of continuous improvement philosophies\nWhat Makes You Eligible\nBe willing to travel up to 5%, domestic and international travel\nBe willing to work in an office (hybrid)\nSuccessfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment\nWhat We Offer\nFlexible work environment\nAccess to employee discounts on world-class Harman (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKG, etc.)\nExtensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN University\nCompetitive wellness benefits\nAccess to HARMAN Campus Fitness Center and Cafeteria\n“Be Brilliant” employee recognition and rewards program\nAn inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development\nHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
