The position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed/excel, whose primary responsibility is designing and developing FPGAs for use in audio and video products. As an Engineer the candidate is expected to take a leading role in design decisions and development. Other responsibilities include some PCB board level electrical design and testing, contributing to functional product specifications and working closely in a team environment. This individual should have a strong, positive attitude and the ability to easily multitask and provide advice/support to other engineers as well as technical support personnel. They should possess strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign and develop FPGAs for audio and video products.\nLead design and architecture decisions by acting as a subject matter expert for targeted technologies.\nManage assigned tasks and schedules.\nFollow engineering standards and procedures for FPGA development.\nWork with a team of engineers to bring products to the AV industry.\nSupport others within the company as needed.\nMaintain and support existing products.\nWhat You Need to Be Successful\nA Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.\n5+ years of Verilog HDL programming experience required.\nExperience with both Altera and AMD (Xilinx) FPGA device families.\nFamiliarity with using FPGA High Speed SERDES features and DDR3/DDR4 memory interfaces.\nExperience with using FPGA devices with embedded processors like Xilinx Zynq SoC and Altera SoC devices.\nAbility to testbench and simulate RTL code.
