The systems you build and work with will solve major business challenges with a focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Quality Systems at Harman.\nThe role is not transactional and not focused on only building and delivering code. It is focused on building Business Solutions based on real Problem Statements with freedom to create fit-for-purpose applications.\nYou are expected and encouraged to stay on with the latest and greatest technological trends to create value in your designs and in the business application.\nThis role is well-suited for an experienced full-stack software engineer, who is interested in applying Software Engineering and UX Design principles in a low-code, model-driven environment and thriving in creating applications with excellent user interfaces.\nYou will work on business-critical systems that integrate with PLM, ERP, MES, and Quality platforms, enabling Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams to manage complex product data in a controlled and traceable way. The problems you will solve are systemic, data-intensive, and cross-functional, rather than isolated feature development.\nWhile low-code platforms (e.g. Mendix for Apps, QLIK for Analytics) are part of the technology stack, this is not a configuration or scripting role. You will apply Object Oriented Programming concepts, data modelling, and architectural thinking to design maintainable, scalable solutions. Low-code is used to accelerate delivery-not to replace engineering discipline.\nIn addition, you will leverage Analytics technologies (ex. QLIK) and Database technologies (ex Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, etc.) to build and create complete, well-rounded solutions in partnership with other HARMAN departments.\nYou will act as a technical owner within the Configuration Management domain, working closely with domain experts and HARMAN Digital IT to ensure that business requirements are implemented as robust, well-designed systems.\nHow You’ll Make An Impact\nDesign and own the Business Architectures on a system / data model level for PLM & Quality\n\nTranslate complex business requirements into clear domain models, data structures, and system behavior.\n\nDesign and implement custom applications and services using: model driven development concepts, Low code platforms (e.g. Mendix) for rapid delivery of applications, Enterprise systems such as Teamcenter PLM and SAP\n\nDesign and Implement Analytics solutions, leveraging enterprise platforms (ex. QLIK with Snowflake)\n\nApply software engineering best practices, including modular design, encapsulation, reuse, and lifecycle management.\n\nDefine and maintain data models, interfaces, and integrations between PLM, Quality, ERP, and downstream systems.\n\nAct as a technical counterpart to business stakeholders, ensuring solutions are scalable.\n\nAnalyze and resolve complex system, data, and process issues using structured root cause analysis.\n\nDrive continuous improvement of Configuration and Change Management processes through system design rather than manual workarounds.\n\nSupport Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams in the effective use of CM related systems.\n\nBuild deep functional and technical expertise in assigned systems and contribute to migration and integration strategies as platforms evolve.\n\nWhat Makes You A Strong Fit\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.\n\n3-5 years of professional experience in software development, systems engineering, or enterprise application development.\n\nStrong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles\n\nProficiency in front end technologies (ex. React, HTML & CSS, JavaScript)\n\nStrong Backend Development skills (ex. Node.js, python).\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (ex. Azure)\n\nProficiency with Git and collaborative development technologies\n\nExperience in system integrations and interfaces, example by using REST API and Microservices architecture\n\nProven ability to design end-to-end systems, including application logic, data structures, integrations, and building an application for scale.\n\nDesire to learn and work with low-code and analytics platforms as part of a modern enterprise development ecosystem.\n\nStrong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.\n\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly in written documentation and technical discussions.\n\nComfortable working in international, cross-functional teams, with a high level of ownership and accountability.\n\nBonus Points if You Have\nAIAG Certification\n\nMasters Degree\n\nExperience with Agile Methodologies\n\nExperience with Teamcenter, other PLM Applications, and enterprise systems\n\nExperience with Low Code Platforms (ex. Siemens Mendix)\n\nExperience with Database Technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and Data Lakes (ex.
