This role combines strong HR operations expertise with broad HR generalist capabilities to ensure effective implementation of HR policies, employee programs, and people processes.\nThe role partners closely with HR Business Partners, managers, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, employees, and other stakeholders to drive operational excellence, employee experience, compliance, and continuous improvement. The HR Generalist is expected to exercise sound judgment, proactively resolve issues, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to broader HR initiatives that support business and organizational objectives\nHow You’ll Make An Impact\nEmployee Lifecycle Management\nIndependently manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, probation management, employee documentation, personnel records, benefits administration, and other HR transactions.\nEnsure HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.\nEmployee and Manager Support\nServe as a primary HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, programs, procedures, and employee-related matters.\nResolve employee inquiries and operational issues independently while escalating complex cases appropriately.\nHR Operations and Compliance\nOwn HR data management, validation, reporting, and audit activities within Workday and related HR systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and operational effectiveness.\nCoordinate payroll-related data administration and partner with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, internal controls, and data privacy requirements.\nHR Partnership and Problem Solving\nPartner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, managers, and employees to support organizational changes, employee relations matters, workforce initiatives, and policy implementation.\nApply HR knowledge and professional judgment to interpret policies, analyze issues, recommend solutions, and drive consistent outcomes.\nHR Projects and Continuous Improvement\nLead or contribute to HR projects, process improvements, system enhancements, data quality initiatives, and operational excellence programs.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline processes, improve employee experience, increase efficiency, and reduce operational risks.\nEmployee Engagement and Development Support\nSupport employee engagement, communication, learning, and site initiatives through planning, coordination, implementation, and analysis.\nFacilitate employee programs and training activities that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness\nWhat Makes You A Strong Fit\nBachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Generalist roles, preferably within a multinational or large-scale organization.\nSolid knowledge of employee lifecycle management, HR policies, benefits administration, labor regulations, payroll processes, and HR systems.\nProven ability to independently manage HR cases, resolve problems, prioritize workload, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and customer-service skills.\nDemonstrated capability to drive process improvement and influence outcomes through collaboration.\nFluent in written and spoken English.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems\nBonus Points if You Have\nExperience supporting employee relations cases and organizational changes.\nExperience with Workday or other HRIS platforms.\nExperience leading HR process improvement, employee programs, or cross-functional projects.\nKnowledge of compensation, benefits, mobility, or talent programs.\nWhat You Can Expect\nAccess to employee discounts on HARMAN and Samsung products (including JBL, Harman / Kardon, AKG, and others)\nLearning and development opportunities through our award-winning HARMAN University programs\nWellness benefits designed to support your overall well-being\nAccess to the HARMAN campus fitness center and cafeteria, where available\nAn inclusive and diverse work environment that supports both your professional and personal development\nHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
