When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you’ll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do everyday.\nJob Title: Infotainment system engineer for defect triaging\nExperience:\n6-9 years of relevant experience in defect triaging for infotainment system\nEducation & Training:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream. \nJob Responsibilities:\nRoot cause analysis of issues based on logs/traces.\nIdentification of duplicate tickets based on root cause analysis.\nIdentifying and assigning severity and priority of defects.\nCheck for quality of the reported defects.\nAnalyzing and identifying correct domain of the raised defects.\nFollows defined process guidelines for creating and maintaining triaging documentation.\nCollaborate with developers, testers and automation engineers to understand and clarify the reported defects.\nPerform tests for functional/non-functional requirements (if needed).\nMandatory Skills:\nExcellent in Infotainment system defect analysis and triaging\nExcellent in trace or log analysis (DLT/CAN/Ethernet logs etc.).\nKnowledge on automotive tools like DLT Viewer, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco etc.\nStrong in Automotive Infotainment system testing for different OEMs, regions and languages.\nKnowledge of automotive communication protocols like SOME-IP, SOME-IP SD, CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics UDP, UDS ISO-14229 etc.\nExcellent communication skills.\nDesired Skills\nKnowledge on network communications.\nWorking experience in trace analysis of Android applications.\nExperience with hardware devices used in automotive testing like Vector, K2L, Power Supply, power matrix etc.\nHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
