You will work closely with General Motors (GM) engineering & HARMAN Engineering and program management. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys coordinating cross-functional priorities, solving problems, and moving forward HARMAN’S speaker designs inside of GM.\nHow You’ll Make An Impact\nWork within GMs Team Center database to provide data and CAD to HARMAN’s engineering team\nCreate and present technical presentations that include dimensions, cross-section, and design proposals to demonstrate solutions to GM\nRun weekly Program Development Team (PDT) meetings and record open issues/issue resolutions/program timing weekly with the respective program team to successfully move the program forward\nSupport Compartment Integration (CIT) Meetings and presenting issues/issue resolutions weekly to support design solutions\nAttend Vehicle Performance Integration Team (VPIT) meetings and present issues/issue resolutions to explain HARMAN’S design perspective\nCreate change requests inside of GM systems to document and to update and track HARMAN’s mechanical designs\nWhat Makes You A Strong Fit\nBachelor’s degree in engineering\nExperience with CAD applications - CATIA/ SolidWorks/ NX (preferred)\nExperience with Teamcenter VIS Mockup or comparable tools to evaluate vehicle packaging\nAbility to manage customer program milestones across engineering, keeping priorities clear and open issues moving toward resolution\nRelationship-building skills that build trust with the customer\nNever-ending curiosity to learn, discover, gain knowledge on projects, processes, components, vehicle architecture, and other engineering domains\nClear communication and sound judgment when explaining technical tradeoffs to customers, product teams, and engineering partners so decisions can be made quickly.\nWe see AI as an important part of how work gets done.
