Your primary focus will be defining how AI is applied at scale-ensuring solutions are robust, secure, explainable, testable, and production-ready.\nYou will lead the development of both prebuilt AI integrations and custom AI/ML solutions, while establishing enterprise standards for MLOps, model governance, and lifecycle management. You will ensure AI solutions are not isolated experiments, but fully integrated, scalable systems built on top of the data platform (Databricks).\nWhat You Will Do\n1. AI Strategy & Technical Leadership\nAI Engineering Leadership:\nDefine best practices for AI solution design, deployment, and lifecycle management.\nUse Case Prioritization:\nIdentify high-value AI opportunities and guide their technical execution.\nStandards & Governance:\nEstablish standards for model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.\n2. AI Solution Architecture & Development\nDefine architectural patterns for:\nBatch vs real-time inference\nFeature engineering pipelines\nModel reuse across use cases\nStandardize implementation of common AI solutions:\nForecasting frameworks\nClassification pipelines\nAnomaly detection frameworks\nNLP/document intelligence pipelines\nEnsure solutions are modular, reusable, and scalable\n3. Data & Platform Integration\nData Pipeline Alignment:\nEnsure AI solutions effectively leverage enterprise data pipelines (e.g., Databricks).\nFeature & Data Strategy:\nGuide design of features and data structures required for high-performing models.\nPlatform Collaboration:\nWork closely with Platform Engineers on infrastructure, compute, and scalability.\n4. MLOps, CI/CD & Lifecycle Management\nDefine and enforce MLOps standards using MLflow, including:\nExperiment tracking\nModel versioning and registry\nPromotion workflows (Dev → QA → Prod)\nCo-design CI/CD pipelines with Platform Engineering:\nAutomated model testing\nValidation gates before deployment\nEnvironment consistency across stages\nEstablish deployment patterns:\nBatch scoring pipelines\nScheduled retraining jobs\nModel serving endpoints where needed\n5. Testing, Validation & Trust\nDefine testing frameworks covering:\nModel performance validation\nData validation and schema enforcement\nBacktesting (especially for forecasting)\nEstablish standards for:\nDrift detection (data + model)\nMonitoring and alerting\nDrive adoption of:\nExplainability techniques (SHAP, feature importance)\nBusiness-level validation (not just statistical metrics)\n6. Security, Governance & Responsible AI\nDefine model governance standards:\nModel approval workflows\nVersion control and rollback strategies\nAuditability via MLflow and logging\nEnsure:\nData access controls and compliance\nTraceability from raw data → features → models → outputs\nDrive responsible AI practices:\nBias detection and mitigation\nTransparency and explainability where required\n7. Cross-Functional Leadership & Mentorship\nTechnical Mentorship:\nGuide AI Engineers and support broader team development.\nCollaboration:\nAlign AI initiatives with Data Engineering, BI, and Platform strategies.\nStakeholder Engagement:\nTranslate complex AI solutions into business value and ensure adoption.\n8.
