The role focuses on achieving SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) targets of the production lines by continuously improving productivity, reducing waste, and ensuring that operations run smoothly while meeting safety and quality standards.\nWhat You Will Do\nEnsure all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies\nIdentify potential hazards and implement corrective preventive measures\nAnalyze production performance and implement actions to improve productivity and reduce downtime\nOptimize production workflows to achieve SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) targets\nPrepare reports on performance, deviations, and improvement actions\nSupport internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949, Customer audit)\nImplement corrective actions based on audit findings and follow up on effectiveness\nIdentify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions and create documentation\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices\nWork closely with the quality team to reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction\nMonitor product quality and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including the preparation and follow-up of 8D reports.\nAnalyze stock variance and support action needed for End-to-End Business processes in SAP\nAnalyze scrap data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions\nMonitor and control scrap rates and scrap costs to minimize production losses\nDrive cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for cost saving across production processes\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and driving innovation within the organization\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Production Engineer, Process Engineer or Process Improvement, with a proven track record of implementing improvement projects.\nProficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving methodologies, such as Fishbone diagrams, Why-Why Analysis, and 8D.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required to summarize large-scale data by using EXCEL’s tools enabling efficient and accurate summarization in short timeframe\nProven track record in implementing 5S, Kaizen, Suggestion Systems, or Six Sigma projects\n\nGood command of spoken and written English\nBonus Points if You Have\nSAP System experience is preferable\nGood at cross-functional communication skills and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with production teams.\nExperience in the automotive / electronics / speaker industry is preferable.\nDemonstrable knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, with the ability to create solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.\nWhat Makes You Eligible\nWilling to work in Laem Chabang, Chonburi\nDemonstrate positive thinking, approaching challenges with optimism and a constructive attitude.\nAble to work under pressure\nWhat We Offer\nAccess to employee discounts on world-class products (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKG, and more)\nExtensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN University\nCompetitive wellness benefits\n“Be Brilliant” employee recognition and rewards program\nHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
