The candidate will be responsible for validating next-generation automotive infotainment systems, designing automated test frameworks, executing functional and integration testing, and ensuring high-quality software delivery for automotive products.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign, develop, and execute test cases for automotive infotainment systems.\nDevelop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.\nPerform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.\nValidate multimedia, connectivity, navigation, HMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay features.\nAnalyze software requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test strategies.\nDebug issues, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams for resolution.\nExecute test campaigns on actual hardware platforms and simulators.\nTrack, report, and manage defects using defect management tools.\nParticipate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.\nGenerate test reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentation.\nWhat You Need to Be Successful\n3 to 6 years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Testing.\nStrong programming and scripting experience in Python.\nGood understanding of test automation frameworks and test methodologies.\nHands-on experience in validating infotainment features such as Media, Connectivity, Navigation, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Voice, and HMI.\nExperience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.\nKnowledge of Linux and Android-based infotainment platforms.\nExperience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.\nStrong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nBonus Points If You Have\nExperience with Robot Framework, PyTest, or other Python-based automation frameworks.\nExposure to Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.\nExperience with CANoe, CANalyzer, or Vector tools.\nUnderstanding of embedded systems and automotive software architecture.\nExposure to cloud-connected vehicle services and OTA testing.\nKnowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive cybersecurity concepts.\nWhat Makes You Eligible\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.\n3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Automotive Infotainment Testing.\nProven experience in Python-based test automation.\nStrong understanding of automotive software quality processes and testing lifecycle.\nAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional and global engineering environment.\nWhat We Offer\n- Competitive salary and benefits package\n- Opportunities for professional growth and development\n- Collaborative and dynamic work environment\n- Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools\n- Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance through BeBrilliant\n- Work from Office environment with in-person collaboration, with most office-based roles onsite Five days a week.\nHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
