This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining facility infrastructure, driving preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.\nYou will collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Production, and EHS teams to support daily business needs and facility development projects.\nHow You’ll Make An Impact\nConduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance (PM), and TPM activities for facility systems and equipment.\nTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, utility, and facility-related issues to ensure stable operation.\nMonitor facility performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.\nSupport facility-related projects, including equipment installation, utility modification, and infrastructure upgrades.\nTrain and guide operators on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance practices.\nCollaborate with Production, Engineering, EHS, and other functions to provide timely facility support and services.\nEnsure compliance with company EHS standards, government regulations, and facility operating procedures.\nIdentify opportunities for cost reduction, energy saving, and operational efficiency improvement.\nWhat Makes You A Strong Fit\nAssociate Degree (College Diploma) or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, HVAC, Facility Management, or other related technical disciplines.\nMinimum 5 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, utility, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and fire protection systems.\nExperience with preventive maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.\nAbility to independently troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment and systems.\nFamiliarity with facility safety standards, environmental requirements, and government regulations.\nStrong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.\nAbility to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nBonus Points if You Have\nExperience with facility project implementation and contractor management.\nKnowledge of energy management and utility optimization.\nFamiliarity with Lean, TPM, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.\nGovernment-required certifications related to electrical operation, special equipment, or facility\nAutomotive manufacturing industry experience.\nThings To Know\nYou have a working knowledge of English.\nDue to the nature of global infrastructure, flexibility in working hours may occasionally be required.\nWillingness to travel up to 10% of the time.\nThis position is based in Dandong and requires on-site support.\nThis position does not have direct reports.\n\nWhat You Can Expect\nAccess to employee discounts on HARMAN products (including JBL, Harman / Kardon, AKG, and others).\nLearning and development opportunities through our award-winning HARMAN University programs.\nWellness benefits designed to support your overall well-being.\nAccess to the HARMAN campus fitness center and cafeteria, where available.\nAn inclusive and diverse work environment that supports both your professional and personal development.\nHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
